It may seem like a silly question - but were can I get hold of a guide to do some planning for or trip in October.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Pauline.
There are several guides for Florida and some specialising in Orlando and Disney available from Waterstones,WH Smiths et al. Lots of people on these boards including myself will recommend "A Brits Guide To Orlando and Walt Disney World". The author Simon Veness is a regular in this forum.

I'm a guidebook junkie and I've got hundreds of the things (literally :o ). If you only buy one, it has to be <i>A Brit's Guide</i>. I'm a late convert having overlooked it for years, but it's definitely the most complete guide for the UK visitor. Check out these links:
