Woo hoo, thanks Corey! I can't wait...just a few more days for us!

Anyone know if they're doing the pre-paid bracelet card thingies that Corey and Julie mentioned on the podcast a few weeks ago? If so, where can they be purchased?

Great pics, learned a lot..very helpful! 1 quick question for all, are there small tables near each of the food stands to stop & sample bites or a couple of areas around the park to do so? Assuming members of our group will want to try different things can we meet at a table with our various dishes? Thx

They are doing them again. I'll scan the map so you know all the locations selling them. It's convenient to get one for everyone in your party. They can be activated for $10 - $1500. If you activate one for $1500 call me :)

Good to know Corey, thanks. We are going for the first time this year and are SUPER excited. For the bracelets, can you use Disney gift cards to pay for those? We have some DVC referral incentives we're using this trip and I'm trying to keep most of our spending to the Disney gift cards.

HOLY MOLY $1500???? :scared1: Yeah, I think we'll activate ours at a lot a lot lower than that. Thanks for the tip on everyone having one. Can't wait!

Julie and Corey described them as pre-paid little debit cards about the size of those affinity cards from grocery stores, CVS, etc. and they come attached to bracelets. Sounds a lot more convenient that opening one's wallet at every F&W kiosk. :thumbsup2

If I understood Julie & Corey on the podcast, they are basically giftcards on a wristband. You could just use your gift cards at the kiosks, just without the wristband.

Thanks for sharing Corey. I'll be there in a couple of weeks. I saw a few don't miss items on the menus and some maybe items to try.

thanks a bunch for the info sounds safer than pulling your kttw card at the stands. Yes $1500 sounds insane way out of my league

Great photos Corey....thanks for the info. Can't wait til we get there. 2 more weeks.

I even recognized our Palo Brunch mates from the podcast cruise. Hi Gav & Becx.

I think I'll be spending a lot of quality time at Poland and Germany. Of course with some dessert from Louisiana.

It looks so great. We were there last year during Food and Wine and enjoyed it so much. We had the dining plan so didn't get to try as many things as would have liked. It would be great to be able to go several times and sample everything.

Thank you Corey for posting! This helped me to imagine it better - I have never seen pics of F&W before. Some day I will retire from teaching and be able to enjoy Epcot in October!

Thanks for the great photos of F&W! It's better to see these than the Disney brochure. These have the prices, too! :)

I hope that Julie and Ferris were able to be with you on the photo shoot. What were your favorite beers? I plan to try several when we are there next week. :goodvibes

Kathy,

It has been ten years since we visited F&W, but we are heading there next month. What are the hours for the food booths? I imagine they do not open until World Showcase opens, but then how late?

Thank you and have a great time sampling all the treats!

Well spotted!
We managed to creep into three or four pics. Our very good friends Aaron & Charlotte also made it into the photos. They'll be joining the boards soon and coming on the cruise next year having been newly converted!
Was good to meet up with Corey, Julie and Ferris but it was just too hot to be walking around Epcot.
In my opinion F&W doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be.
Take for example tonight - there was EMH until midnight but all the stalls had shut by 10pm. Really Annoying! That never used to happen...
However the gift cards make spending money real easy - great convinience :thumbsup2

Say it ain't so. We head down next weekend. We always look forward to F&W. It would be a shame if some of the aspects we enjoyed before were taking a change for the worse. That being said, a weekend in Disney can never be a bad thing.;)
