Hi all,
I've just had another wonderful surprise from my mum - she got us a custom mad hatter-style cake for our at-home reception!
As our cake lady wasn't going to be able to make us one, we simplified our design but, unbeknownst to us, she had arranged to get a cake from elsewhere (the original cake lady was her friend, so that wasn't an issue!).
Now, the question I hadn't even thought to consider is:
How do you cut and serve a Mad Hatter cake?!
The bottom tier is a fruit cake (traditional English wedding style) but the top two tiers are sponge. We want to serve a selection of both types tonight, but have no idea how to do this.
Hoping that someone else is able to help! Thanks in advance :lovestruc
