I am looking for anyone that has worked for DVC as an ASA. For those that are not familiar it is a Advanced Sales Associate. The people in the kiosk's.
I have been offered this position at DVC and would like to speak with someone that has any personal knowledge about this position. I would like to communicate with you through Private Messages .If anyone out there has experience with the job please contact me. I am having to change my whole life to secure this position. Relocate, be without family for long period of time among other things. I want to do this, but need to get the straight talk on the possibilities. I have spent hours looking for at blogs, discussion boards and any thing google and bing would pull up. I really have had no luck finding what I need to hear or read. Please Help. TY

Good luck on the new job. From the ASA's I have spoken to, long hours, low pay, and the newbies get assigned the worst locations. They all seem pretty happy though. :goodvibes

I was an ASA from October 1999 to May 2001. From what I hear there has been many changes since this time. I am not sure I can offer any advice as been so long. I don't think many ASA's come to the Disboards.

Is your intent to become a DVC guide? If that is the case then I would suggest waiting for that position to become available.
