transportation from downtown disney hotels

We will be staying at Best Western LBV. They have hourly busses to the parks. Are we better off driving or using the busses? Also, do busses from this area (not official Disney ones) let you off at the front gates or at the transportation center? Thanks, Denise

I'm the opposite of -- I LOOVE having my own car at my disposal. Especially for my trips to Downtown Disney and the outlets---don't have to worry about carrying bags on the bus. And leaveing the parks at closing-----I'm not trying to cram onto s bus with a zillion other people.

I would also check to see if your hotel's bus is limited to the hotel or shares with other hotels. Most of the buses I have read about are shared by several hotels. What happens if the bus if full and how long does it take to make all of it's stops before actually heading to the parks?
