Hello all

We are leaving for the world in three days. It will be my mom and myself and my two girls 6 and 3. My beloved grandmother who is 93 has been in the hospital and we are told she will not come home. I know that she is 93 and has lived a wonderful life but still it is hard. My mom still wants to go and so we will go. If you could send some prayers and pixie dust her way that would be great. My grandmother is not acting like herself and she is telling my mom that she hates her ans stuff like that so i really feel bad for my mom. You all are such a wonderful group of people. Thanks for letting me share. My grandma is a fighter and is holding on so one never knows. Thanks again.

Tons of pixie dust from me too! It's hard to lose a loved one. I lost my Mom last month. Just know that what your grandmother is saying now has not one iota of truth behind it. She's ill and not thinking clearly. I'm sure she loved you and your Mom more than words could express. Try to enjoy your time in WDW.

Jessica,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am hoping you and your mom will still enjoy some of the Magic WDW has to offer.

Please ask the hospital to test your Grandmother for a Urinary Track Infection. In elderly people UTI's are very common and make them do and say some very stagne things.

I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and hoping you all find peace.

Jessica,
Hugs and pixie dust coming your way.
I remember when my Grandfather broke his hip and never recovered. It is hard even though you know they have lived a full life.

I hope you are able to enjoy your trip.

Life's transitions can be so difficult. Give your Mom an extra special hug. And your children, too. And remember all the good times with your grandmother.

Best wishes for a good trip and all that lies ahead.
