We're doing the 7-day Western next year and we're not sure what Palo has beside dinner. I've heard about a "Brunch" or "High Tea"?? What days/times are those offered, and are they worth it?? Thanks for any and all opinions!!

They were offered on the day at sea, and also on Key West day on the Western (if I remember correctly). The brunch was good, but the high tea was GREAT!!!! I love tea that is brewed from leaves. It reminds me of how my grandma used to make chamomile tea...mmmmm! The scones and jam were absolutely divine, and hubby was very partial to the chocolate eclairs (they serve a parfait too, and as Donkey says in Shrek, "Everybody loves a parfait."). The brunch costs $10 per person, and the high tea is free (gotta be the best bargain on the ship). Seating is very limited, so reserve early.

On our cruise in June 2001 we did both the Brunch and the Dinner. Don't get me wrong the dinner was good but the brunch was out of this world excellent. My DH and I have made the brunch our don't miss extra for our cruise in March 2003. I think besides the great food the thing we really liked about it was you were up in Palo's during the day so the views were unbelievable. Plus it was a nice chance to have a couple of hours for just my DH and I. Good luck making your decisions.
P.S. My parents were on the cruise also and they did the high tea and agree totally with Barb it is by far the best value on the ship since it is free and it was totally relaxing. They loved it:)
