This may be a stupid question, but what are the tv bags that you guys are talking about?

Our Target doesn't have them anymore...they were discontinued! I even emailed Target about them and was told that they were unable to track down which Targets still had them.

Does anyone have one they would like to sell?

Amanda,

What rewards program do you use for JC Whitney? I may go that route for my TV - right now, it's bungee corded between the two front seats, seems very secure, but my husband, the firefighter EMT, doesn't think it's a very good idea!

Thanks for the advice and the link!

My husband is also a firefighter and EMT so I went out and bought the TV bag for our 9 inch TV. It is more flimsy than using the bungy cords. Maybe it is the large SUV and my DH thinks the TV bag would work well in a mini van. I was so disgusted I returned it and now am buying a mini van with a DVD alredy in it. My advice is try it. I know when I posted on another thread about using the bungy cords I was over whelmed with stories of safety and even death, well the TV bag in my case is a lot worse.

If you live anywhere near Winston-Salem, NC, both Targets in W-S have the tv carrying bags in stock. They are still $49 though, but if you live within driving distance, it might save you shipping anyway.

I was just in my Target (MI) yesterday and they had at least 5 on the shelf. A couple weeks ago they were out of them so they must have gotten a new shipment.
