Just wondering where you all would recommend if we wanted to have a few drinks in the evening - maybe a few cocktails!

Thanks.

Billy Bobs is reasonably priced in the Village & as bonus of sometimes having live music acts. When we were there it was Salsa dancing.

If you want to drink in the hotels. The cheapest is Santa Fe/Cheyenne & the price increases as the hotel rating increases.

Whilst the DLH bar is nice I don't see the point of paying more for the same drink I can get in other hotels.

I really enjoyed the cocktails at the Sports Bar back in 2004, I can't vouch that they are as nice as they were back then...as we now have the boys and mainly stay off site I haven't had a drink at DLRP since then :scared1:

We really enjoyed drinks in the New York & Sequioa Lodge hotel bars! We also drank at King Ludwig's and the Sports Bar, and we found the prices pretty much the same wherever we went!

We had a few drinks at the Sport Bar in March, so the boys could use the nearby arcade for an hour, it's quite pleasant, we sat outside, they have lots of patio heaters for warmth.
Otherwise we always head back to the hotel for a drink, although following on from Nicki's post above I may be mosying over to the Cheyenne for a drink before retiring to HNY next visit.

Cafe Mickey does a wicked Cosmopolitan, but if you really want to get noticed opt for the Blue Glo-tini :)

I think everyone should visit the Fantasia bar at the DLH at least once because it's so lovely in there. Well, I would say that, it's my favourite film. :goodvibes

Ooh good question, having thoroughly tested them all over the years:

Sequioa - In an open lounge, nice atmosphere, good people watching and quick service either at the bar or they also do table service. They do happy hour too!
Newport Bay - they have 2 bars, the best is the Captains Lounge, more intimate and cosy.
Hotel New York - The Manhaten, you must try it. As good as the Captains Lounge is the Manhatten is just superb. You're seated when you go in and table service all the way. Waiters are quick and efficient, on a number of nights they have had live music when we were there. My personal favourite.
Disneyland Hotel - Fantasia themed bar, even if you don't have a drink there you should go to have a look, beautiful decoration but by far the most expensive.

In short they're all superb (as well as those in Disney Village, with Billy Bobs doing live music which is great) but the only real recommendation I could give is to make sure you visit them all - it's a great pub crawl!
