Damn.
It was different in a nice way to the "in your face" Disney and Universal theme parks. Sad

That's a shame. We went on Easter Sunday 2008 as we wanted to avoid the crowds everywhere else and really enjoyed it.

It had an old-fashioned charm to it and the gardens were beautiful.

Unfortunately for places like this, they can't compete with the likes of Disney (and Universal to a slightly lesser extent) who do everything they can to keep visitors on-site and spending all their cash with them. It destroys the competition.

A bit like what the big supermarket chains do to local shops here in the UK - but don't get me started on that one!

Only went there once...in 1993. Never had the urge to revisit it since

Never heard of this. But as others say must be difficult to compete in a market place with the likes of Disney, Universal and Seaworld.

I gather that Annheister Busch has sold Seaworld
