All you escape brides out there. how many people did you have at your wedding? Can you post some pictures please especially at the WP. does it look empty and funny if you dont have too many people. It's so stressful trying to confirm everyone since our guess will be flying in.. I just want to give up on inviting people.. Any advice? :sad1:

I am not an escape bride (or any bride! :rotfl:), but I can honestly say I have never seen a picture of the Wedding Pavilion that looked empty (aside from the ones before the ceremony/people arrive!). Usually, the photographer will move up (it seems) so the empty rows are not being shown in the photograph. I would not worry too much about it!

Although we married at Sea Breeze Point, we only had 4 adults and 2 children - it didn't feel empty at all :cutie:

DF & I took a trip down to Disney World to see the inside of the WP. I have pictures of the empty WP but am having a hard time posting. I also have pictures of the rooms that the bride and groom wait in, prior to the wedding. If you are interested I can forward these to a peronal e-mail account. I wanted to make sure it was worth the cost of our escape wedding $5500.00. IT IS VERY MUCH WORTH THE COST. The WP is very beautiful and elegant, words cannot describe and the pictures will not do it justice. Seeing that this is our 2nd wedding & just family is attending, we decided to keep the stress level to a minimum & we are treating everyone for a buffet dinner afterwards at 1900 Fair Park inside Grand Floridian & we are also buying everyone a ticket to Mickey's Merry Christmas Party for the next night.

We are doing an Escape wedding in March 2010, and I had the same concern.

DF really wanted the WP, but I wasn't sold. But on a vacation there this summer, DF and I (and his parents, too) went to the WP to check it out. At first I saw all the rows of pews, thinking they were empty... but standing at the front, it felt very intimate and cozy to me, knowing our closest friends and families would be sitting right there with us. Now I'm looking forward to holding our ceremony there! :lovestruc

And I'm glad I don't have to stress about weather re-location, either!

I have an 8 person guest list...the elegance and the moment are all that matter to me!!! So, heck it if it is empty...Their loss!!!
I worried about this too at first...but it will be fine!
