HI Everyone! I am back and wanting to be at Disney. It hasn't even been a good 24 hours!
Let's start with the cast members of the MERBs (Mack Epps Ruffin Bruce)!
From youngest to oldest..;)
There is my Mom..DNana to everyone! Over 50 (we don't talk age, let's just say she is Mom to 7 and I am her youngest. You do the math) Spry, loving women who kept up with us!!! DAuntie (who was born from another mother but totally belongs to us) Christel. Lovingly Known as "Auntie" Fistel.
DH Shawn, Me, DS Seth, and DD Chayce. My best friend DBFF Bernadette, my adoptive DN Chauncey, and DN Kayla. Is that everyone.....yes!
It's great because our kids are around the same ages and they are each others BF too. So Just a great BFF Fest!
So I got off work early on Tuesday and did some last minute running around. My family and I cleaned house and went out to eat. The kids were excitedly talking about what they wanted to do first. This is our 2nd trip to Disney, DNana's 3rd and everyone else's first. On the way home I called my friend in Hilton Head to remind her to call me. She is away on vacation and called to wake me up. See I have a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad memory! I am sometimes affectionately and sometimes not so affectionately Known as "Dory"! (And I planned the trip. Thanks to you all and these boards) So she thought that I would forget to set the alarm.... I told her no way I am going to Disney tomorrow how would I forget to set the alarm........:rolleyes1 Um so....I um woke up to my girlfriend saying..."Girl, if you didn't answer this phone this time...I was calling Nana!!!" So up at 4:05 Am, dressed, washed, and ready to go! Loaded the car and got in it and .......RINGGGGGG cell phone. DBFF is running late. The original plan was that all of us would meet at the airport. Instead we all met at DNana's and left from there. We park our cars at the Airport parking which was great. They came to the car pick us and luggage up and we were off to the airport. It was nice because I had a 50% off coupon to park there...."Dory moment"....Later in the trip report. At the airport we check our bags curbside and DNana couldn't find her ID License :scared1: Our Flight left at 7:00 AM and we were checking in bags t 6:15AM. Yes cutting it close. We grabbed something to eat and were boarding the plane. Oh and this is the first time my DBFF and DN flew! That was funny!:lmao: On take off DBFF had her face covered and DN was positioned strategically at the window and kept saying, "What was that?!?"
She loved it after being in the air. The take off and landing...not so much...We got to the airport 20 minutes early and went to the magical express check in. Breezed through that (because we had our preprinted passes) and we were on the bus in 20 minutes. Watched a movie about Disney...and Arrived at Pop Century in 35 minutes.
My family and DNana and DA could not check in online due to some kind of blip with the online check in. DBFF did. But honestly we were done about the same time. We got our stuff and checked our carry ons with "Luggage" because our rooms weren't ready and hopped on the next bus to........drumrollll....little longer because I forgot....No just kidding. MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!

Was the first thing out of my kids mouth. Then I remembered that all of the sunscreen was in the luggage. Note to pack a small bottle in carry on. Bought some fromt the gift shop and sprayed everyone and we went to the bus stop for Magic Kingdom.
While waiting for the bus, Seth and Chauncey try and push the luggage cart. ;)

We get to Magic Kingdom and we all have pep in our step! All of us get through the turnstiles except DBFF and kids. Turns out that her tickets were cancelled for some reason and she had to go to Guest services. They str8tened everything out and gave her a fast pass for all day!!!!!:dance3:
We finally walk in and down mainstreet and see the castle! I don't know its just something about the castle. A nice guys saw me trying to take a picture and asked if I wanted to get in. YEAH! :)

Not the best but it works. We were all hungry so we decided to go to Cosmic Rays Starlite cafe. My husband and I got the double cheeseburger which was good. My DD got the hot dog with fries. My DS and DBFF got the St Louis ribs which were awesome! DNana and DAuntie got salads which were big and they couldn't finish. DNeph got the barbeque chicken and DN got cheese fries. Everything was very good and a plenty of it. Ray was funny (if you listen to him) and I enjoyed the show. It was very loud in the restaurant and very busy!
After we ate, we went to Stitch's Great Escape. This ride my son was so afraid of last time. It was called Alien something I forget. This time my daughter was a little afraid but loved it afterwards. We got on Buzz Lightyear and I took the advice of some on the boards here and got the highest score. My DS and DNeph couldn't believe it. They had to ride it again with me and guess what!!! I still beat them. We saw Stitch and got a picture of the girls with him. My camera started acting up and I couldn't take pictures with the first one. Good thing Dory packed a 2nd one just in case.

After riding that DS and DNeph and DH left us girls to go do the big rides.

Comment of my DD. I got a message on my phone that my room was ready and shortly after so did the rest of us. After taking pictures with Stitch we went to see Monsters Inc. I loved this show. Especially how they incorporated the audience. It was great! Well it was getting close to 2:00PM and DNana and DAuntie were getting tired! So they went to the Hall of Presidents and DBFF, DD, DN and myself went to ride Peter pan. After seeing the line and it was so hot the girls wanted to go back to the pool. I wanted to get a Dole whip so we walked toward Aloha Isle. On the way we rode Thunder Mountain. DD was afraid but after riding it once, she wanted to ride it again and again. 3x riding that we walked toward Aloha Isle and saw The Magic carpets of Alladin. Will I ever get my Dole Whip? The girls rode that twice. Then we finally got my Dole Whip. It was melting immediately but I didn't care it was sooooooo good. DNana and DAuntie called and said they would meet us at the entrance. They were setting up for the parade and the girls didn't want to see it because it was so hot! We met up with DNana and DAuntie at the entrance. We walked to the bus stop and got in line. I was about to call the guys to let them know we were leaving and saw they were walking toward the bus stop. We all got on the bus tired. I met a woman with 2 girls that was a Diser but couldn't read her name on her tag. :flower3: Sorry! She said they had taken an early flight in too! Once we got back to the Resort, I went to Concierge to get our tickets for Hooptee doo. The cast member Ralph was so funny and helpful. Loved him! Told us how to get there and everything. I also called for our taxi Mears pick up for the park tomorrow. It came with the tickets. We finally got to our rooms which were in the 60's with Baloo and Mouglee. The girls took off with DNeph to swim and I unpacked the suitcases. And our food was there from Garden Grocer. I forgot (Dory) to mention that they called while I was checking in before we left for the park. Once I unpacked and we relaxed a minute we decided to go and eat at Everything Pops. I got a delicious greek salad and decided to try the tye-dyed cheese case. It was a favorite of our group. My DS loved the chicken and pasta meal. The food was good. DNeph bought a refillable mug. After eating we decided to hit the bed early. We had to get up early and go to US/IOA.......

Heah Candy!! I am loving the report so far. Its so nice to actually "see" you. Looks like you guys really enjoyed yourselves. Stitch is ds17's favorite too!! That is awesome that you beat them at Buzz. O.K. I admit I am pathetic at Buzz, I bet a 4 year old could probably beat me!! Waiting for the next installment!!

LMP! Yeah my son loves stitch and the pictures with him and Stitch at the parks is on the camera that is acting up. I hope I can get them off the disc. If so I will post them here. It has most of my Universal pictures on it. :sad2:
I loved Buzz lightyear. I was a little nervous about my Mom (DNana) and the moving walkway, that I almost tripped myself. I think they should make that transition a little smoother. Thanks for following my trip report.

Hi BookMomma! Welcome.:flower3:

So I got my wake up call but I let my DS answer the phone. When he heard the message he got a silly grin on his face. Stitch is his favorite! Then he used Stitch's phrase to wake up his sister. "No Sleeping". We woke up at 7:30, ate breakfast in the room (I must say that all of Garden Grocer's food items were very fresh) and got dressed. Clothes and showers were done the night before. I knocked on my Mom's door and she opened it and stumble on something and fell on her bottom. There was a mad rush to help her up. I swear my DH almost knocked me over to get her up. She was laughing the whole time so I was sure nothing was broken. She told us to quit fussing and hand her shoes over (I told you she has more spunk than all of us). I knocked on my DBFF door and they were running behind. I told them I would meet them outside. Once there I asked where do we stand to catch the Mears taxi and the cast member told us right at the red carpet. I text the info to everyone and we were all there by 8:20 AM. Pick up was at 8:25 Am.
The girls made a little Princess chair out of Legos while we waited.
Here's Chayce 'Sitting Pretty'.
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0542.jpg
The Mears "Taxi" was a huge bus like the Magical express! Our driver Victor was awesome. We made one more stop at Carribean Beach and then off to US. Victor gave us a mini tour on the way. Told us where to shop and how to get there and back to our resort. He was great. Told us about Hurricane Charlie was the reason why some of the trees were bent. Really nice guy.
We got to US at about 9:20 and decided to go to US first. Here's our group pictures in front of the world.
Me, DH, DNana, DS, DNeph
DD and DN

We go into the park and did Jimmy Neutron first.
Here's the girls waiting to ride JN
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0545.jpg
This ride was Da Bomb! It was so much fun. I was worried about DNana but she was laughing and clapping at it. Then we rode Shrek 4D. That was great too but I could do w/o the ghost business. Not my cup of tea.
After that DH, Me, DS, and DNeph wanted to ride the Rip Rockit rollercoaster and everyone else did Twister. The Roller coaster went down 3 times and after the third time we left it. We met up with the rest of the group and went to Disaster. DN Kayla and DS Seth were picked to be special extras in the movie. It was really fun. Kayla was the little kid that falls onto the Rock and Seth was one of the Menacing men that the rocks fell on. It was a hoot to watch the movie at the end of the ride. I was mad that I couldn't video tape it.
After that DNana, DAuntie and DBFF had to make a stop and the rest of us went on Jaws. I liked it and our captain certainly made it fun. He said at the end to take all of our belongings and "make sure we take the complimentary souvenir of wet shoes, socks and underwear." And boy was he right about that. After Jaws we decided to eat in the park. We couldn't decide until we saw our DNeph with a hot dog. This hot dog place had all kinds of hot dogs. Philly, Rueben, and others with all kinds of fixins. After lunch the boys went to IOA and DH stayed with us. We then rode MIB and I scored well as an agent on that too! Here's the picture we took. The adults took it more serious than the kids! :rotfl2:
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/ScannedImage.jpg
We were going to do the Simpsons but the wait was long. We then went to ET and rode that. It was cool when he said your name at the end.
We then went to Terminator but he next show was at 3:00 so we browsed some shops. I found my favorite character had her own shop. Betty Boop. I would have pictures but now the 2nd camera was acting crazy. I hope to add some from DNana's pictures. Terminator was excellent too. I liked how they incorporated actors into the scenes. After Terminator DNana found a cool little diner and said she was starting to feel her fall. DAuntie and DBFF stayed with her and they began to shop around too. DH, myself and the Girls ventured to IOA. It was 4:00 when we got there and the park closed at 6:00. But there were no waits for anything. We rode the HULK my favorite ride 3 times. Chayce was not game for that one but she did ride Jurassic park ride. I loved the theming in Jurassic park. The fossils on the ground it was great. Chayce did not want to ride dueling dragons so we met up with the boys and rode that twice. By the time we were finished it was about 5:30Pm and we were spent. We met up with our group and ate at at Hard rock cafe. We got a picture there but I can't upload that for some reason. I got my favorite salad the Haystack salad. DAuntie got the sampler appetizer and love that. DS got Fish and chips. DNana got the Haystack salad. The girls got pasta and meat sauce and DH got Wings. Everything there is always good. We left there and went to the bus stop for our pick up. We were exhausted but look at the girls.

Wow Candy, looks like you had a great time at Universal!! You look like one cool mama on MIB!! I guess they know not to mess with you!!:) Last time we went to Universal I think I only rode Shrek and ET. That was it. I know what you mean about Jaws. After I got the stuffin scared out of me the lst time I decided not to do that one again either. My body is getting to old for Universal!! o.k. i can't wait to hear about your dh and ds swimming experience.

Loving your report, Candy! Looks like you all had a terrific time!! :goodvibes
US/IOA is on my agenda for 2010. Theoretically. I have been carrying water park tickets around for 3 years, so just because I have tickets for something doesn't mean we will actually GO.
Now, tell us MORE!!!
Candy30
09-27-2009, 12:04 PM
I forgot to tell you (Dory) all that the day we went to US/IOA there was a bomb scare on the Bus at WDW. :scared1: We didn't find that out until we turned on the TV in our Room. They shut the whole bus system down and did an inspection of every bus that was active. They found a parcel on the bus and no one claimed it. So it turned out to be a great day to visit US/IOA. I heard that the buses were about an hour to hour and half late but at least Disney was on it.
Jacks, I know the last time we were at Disney a family gave us their tickets to the water parks and we didn't use them either. We ended up giving them to another family of 4 for them to use. Hopefully they got to use them. YOu have to go to Universal! Your son will love it! It's not too big of a park but if I had the time I would have spent 2 days at US/IOA.

We got up early to get to Epcot. Ate breakfast in our rooms and got dressed. Sidenote: Our room was not cleaned well these first two days. Small things like our cups were not thrown away or replinished. The bed was made and garbage emptied but that was it. My DBFF bed wasn't even made so we did make a call and after that the rooms were a little better. I make it a habit to clean my room when I first get in there anyway. So I knocked on the doors of my family to give the ten minute warning and DNana and DAuntie were ready! DBFF was having problems with her knees. So we met at the bus stop. Once at Epcot we stopped to take pictures in front of the Spaceship Earth.
DNana wanted to make it look like she was holding it with her finger. She is such a strong woman I actually can visualize her handling a worlds worth of problems on her finger. Love her. :lovestruc
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0548.jpg
DSon wanted to make it look like he carried it on his shoulders. That's my Boy!!!

The ever bouncy girls.

The crew
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0551.jpg
So after pictures we headed for Soarin'. DBFF knees were really bothering her so she went to rent a scooter (which turned out to be the best thing. More on that later). We got to Soarin' with 15 minute wait time.
THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! Loved the pine smell and orange effect. It was great. We met up with rest of the crew and walked over to The Seas with Nemo.

BookMama you will not be disappointed in US/IOA. It has so many things for people of all ages. There was something there for everyone. We didn't get to explore there Citywalk much or IOA. But I think 2 days would let you cover it all at a decent pace.

I checked with Coral Reef restaurant to see if they had any cancellations or openings for around 2:00PM but she said I had to come and check back then.
Ok. So let me give you some background on this tour. It is a tour where you can snorkel with an oxygen tank in the aquarium at Nemos Pavilion. I found out about this...where else :confused3 on these boards. You pay in advance (which some of you know was good for me) and they give you a reservation number. Now here on the boards they told me that you have to meet in the front of the park at EPCOT. Well when talking with the cast member she told me to meet in Nemo's pavilion at 11:30. You can be as young as 8 but must have an adult accompany you. So I knew my DS and I would love this. So I asked the whole family if they wanted to do this. Well my DD was a no and my DH No was more resounding. So I made arrangements for the 2 of us to go. Prior to going to Disney I saw my doctor and he recommended at this time I not do it because of having a new port put in recently. :headache:
So I was mad at that. So I also had to convince my DH to do it with my DS. OH Boy! :scared1: He finally agreed and said that I owed him one.
So after Soaring we went to see Nemo ride in the Shells. Kinda kiddie like or as my teens said "Lame." Then the rest of the group went on Turtle Talk while we waited for the Tour Group. While waiting we watched the show with the guy in the scuba gear in the tank. Pretty cool. After the show I asked a Cast Member Carrie?, if the group met here and she told me no at the entrance of EPCOT. Well by now it was 11:30 and I was panicking. She told me not to panic and she would go find out where they were at. A few minutes later she said that someone will pick them up from here at Noon. PHEW! Well my son wanted to see the tank he was swimming in so we toured that and came back down. I told the rest of the group they could go see other rides instead of waiting but everyone wanted to see them. And DAuntie had been teasing my DH that she was going to take pictures and put them on UTUBE. :lmao: So we finally met with Gordon. I asked Gordon if we could take pictures before they went out. DAuntie mentioned Utube again and Gordon was like sure. So off they went and we kinda hung around until they were ready. My DS said they were given a behind the scenes tour of how they took care of the sea life and a little show the dolphins did for them back stage. They were told in the tanks not to go near the dolphins side because they would try and pull them through the gate to play.
So we were waiting at the top of the stairs to be the paparazzi when Gordon came out and waved us down. He said he was taking them another way and wanted us to be able to take pictures beforehand. I got Video...:lmao: Notice my son's facial change for pictures. :lmao:
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/th_20090918131955.jpg (http://s732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/?action=view¤t=20090918131955.flv)
Before my DH left he said "you know this is not my cup of tea." I knew he was nervous then. My DS was ready! I was so excited for them and bummed for me.:headache: Here's a few shots from the paparazzi:
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0561.jpg
We were all so excited waiting for them to come into the tanks. My DBFF saw them first. Here is a few shots. Not too clear but you can kinda make them out.
My son: He really was a natural at this. The one lady said she thought he was one of the instructors. He loved it too. Who knows maybe???? He asked how long they have to go to school and he was turned off by the Marine biology of 6 years. :confused3
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0580.jpg
He was chasing everything including the sharks. They were told not to reach out to them because they were wild animals. We knocked on the pane at my son and he waved and pointed to a sea turtle he was chasing and was gone. DAuntie said he had a motor on his bum he was swimming so fast.
DH was Nervous! He waved at us quickly and kept his eyes open for sea life coming close. He said he was trying to find DS to keep an eye on him too.
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/100_0581.jpg
DS changed his tank about 3 times. They were only supposed to be in the water for 1/2 hour but they were in there for 1 hour. It was awesome.
They were given a tshirt and a picture. Here it is! My guys!!!!! Love them.
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/ScannedImage-2.jpg
After they got out I ran around the corner to see if Coral Reef had any openings and they didn't. So we walked through the lands to find a place to eat. We finally reached UK and Rose and Crown could seat us in 15 mins. Texted the guys and they met us there. I have pictures but I can't upload those yet from that goofy camera. More on EPCOT later.

Wow! You've got quite a big group there! That must have been so much fun!!!

US/IOA looks like so much fun!!! My boyfriend loves it, but I've never been!
I was at Magic Kingdom the day of the bomb scare! Once the buses were back up and running they were backed up the rest of the night! So it was absolute chaos trying to leave the park that night!
The Aqua Sea tour definitely looks like something I would LOVE to do!!! Oh, that looks so awesome! I'm sorry you weren't able to do it, but it's great that your DS got to!

I forgot to mention that my DBFF had the scooter(which was very expensive to rent for one day) and was able to go from restaurant to restaurant until she found Rose and Crown could accomodate our group (boy did that scooter come in handy). After eating at Rose and Crown we split up again. I had to take my daughter to Mexico for school and the others wanted to go to O'Canada. We managed to get video of her shopping and doing a transaction in Spanish (so we thought) so I didn't bother to take pictures. We Rode the boat ride and it was cute.
We met up with our group again and decided to ride Test Track. We got fast passes and then got on the ride. We Loved it!!! Then we went to Mission Space. And choose the more intense side. It was totally awesome. I thought it was going to be cheesy but it was absolutely great! We went back to test track and rode it again. Afterwards, Mom DAuntie and DBFF were tired and decided to go back to the resort. We rode Test Track again and went to Honey I shrunk the audience. Fun. Then we decided to leave before Illuminations. Everyone was getting tired. There was a throng coming in as we were walking toward the entrance. DD wanted to ride spaceship Earth so we did reluctantly. I was pleasantly surprised at the ride and the movie at the end. It was kinda cool. We caught our bus back to the resort and ate at Everything Pops. I got a greek salad with chicken and of course my tye dyed cheesecake. We took it back to the room to eat. Walking past my DNana and DAuntie's room was dark and I thought WoW we must have worn them out! But then DNana knocked on our door still dress and asked for something I don't remember what. She said she caught her 2nd wind and they walked around the worlds and stayed for Illuminations :scared1: She never ceases to amaze me  Next stop....Downtown Disney, Pool day and Hooptee-Doo-Review!!!!

Oh no!!! I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your pictures!!!
I love the Bruce pictures!!! Too cute!! Haha, I did end up passing up the Bruce photo op! There was a bit of a line, and I had to go to the bathroom so bad!!! So I said, "Forget it! I need to find the restroom!" I'll have to be sure to get a picture there next time!
Aww! I miss Epcot! I didn't get to spend nearly enough time there!!!

How fun to do the Seas tour!! My friend just signed up to do it with her family in November. Her DH can't swim, but they told her he can wear a floatie and he will be fine! I hope you will be able to do the tour on your next trip!
You are a BRAVE girl to do the serious side of Mission Space! :scared1: We have done the weenie side a couple of times - that was enough. I hate to have air blowing on me, and the last time we rode that A/C was blowing in my face the whole time.
We only have enough DVC points left for 12 nights at WDW next year, so I *think* we will end up doing 3 nights at US/IOA. Wed-Fri, then go home early Sat. That gives us a full day at each park and time to just putz around.

Tell your friend she will LOVE IT! My husband told me that there was a woman there that couldn't swim well and you saw the instructor was with her almost the whole time. My husband it not a great swimmer but he did just fine. He said they make you comfortable about throughout the whole tour. Look for another installment soon!!

We slept in and I took the girls to the swimming pool. While everyone else mosied along. Some ate breakfast at Everything Pops (which I was told had great omelets) and other just laid around. I had great pictures and a video of me and the girls doing synchronized swimming! I am so bummed about my camera:guilty:. So around Noon we got on the bus to downtown disney. First stop was to create your own TShirt. The girls did this and DNana and DAuntie had one made as well. They all turned out great. We were supposed to eat lunch at Rainforest (I really wanted to.) but everyone ruled it out the day before. So We took pictures in front of it. I loved this restaurant. Yeah the Animaltronics are a bit corny but it is good food.

We shopped for a bit and then ate at different places. I wanted to try Earl of Sandwhich! DS and DNeph dis Puck something and said it was really good. Earl of Sandwhich to me was a lot like Panera Bread. I didn't like my sandwhich. It was Hawaiian steak. My husband loved his and my daughters vegetarian was awesome (I know because I ate the other half). It was very busy but organized. We left there and shopped some more. I was looking for Mickey's Place where there are inexpensive souvenirs. Well after asking several cast members we stumble upon it ourselves. It is the same souvenirs just the cheaper ones. The boys left us to go to another park but we made them promise to be at Ft Wilderness on time and they were. So we decided to leave from Downtown Disney to get to Hooptee Doo. Found out we had to take a bus to Grand Floridian and take a boat from there. It was the least amount of walking for my DNana and DBFF. Here are more pictures of DTN Disney:

BBQ Ribs, Fried chicken, baked beans, salad, corn bread (excellent), red mashed potatoes and sangria, beer, all you can eat! If you emptied a bucket they refilled it!
Everyone loved the show! When we left we got on the bus and my DS and DNeph started making jokes from the show. Play on words (bear). Making statements like that was a "Beary good show" or we Bearly made it on this bus. So the rest of the trip we would do jokes like that. We had to wait a long time B4 the bus moved. One person got so upset he was yelling:mad: at the bus driver. The Bus driver was very diplomatic and told him that he would have to take it up with Guest Services. He was doing his job to make sure everyone was on the bus. Besides listening to his rants we had a wonderful time there. We went back to the resort and crashed. This was the first time that everyone in the family was snoring!!! Next up...getting my DD to come over to the "Thrill" side!

Welcome! Ask any questions! We stayed in rooms 5241-5243! They were great! It was close enough to the pool but far enough and around the back where you didn't hear the noise of the pool! We loved it there! Everything Pops is busy is very at Dinner time but it was still great. The theming is cool! The pools are very nice. The Cast Members were always helpful.

So we had a 8:30AM ADR at Tusker house for Animal Kingdom. On the way to the bus we met a family that had a boy with Cerebal Palsy. He had the most beautiful eyes and he was very sweet. His family was Mom, Dad, Grandma and Great Auntie. We were running late and they told us not to worry that they were always late. :) We rode the bus and talked to the Dad and they were so nice. Once we got to Animal Kingdom we checked in at the turnstiles(because we were there before the park opened) and they checked to see if our names were there. We ran ahead and got checked in. On the way in all the cast members were saying welcome and smiling. It was nice. Once we all arrived, we were met at the door by our waitress Chris (Judy, I will explain that). She explained how the buffet worked and the Jungle Juice which we loved. It was some African breakfast cuisine on one buffet, regular buffet on another and cold cereal stuff on another. It was great! We got to spend time with the characters and DNana and DAuntie had hats for their favorite characters. Here are some pictures.

DH kept calling our waitress "Judy". It was hilarious! She was such a great waitress. She played along when we would tease my DH. He took a picture with her. Here are more pictures.

After breakfast, DNana, DAuntie and DBFF wanted to do the Safari. The rest of us wanted to ride. Now my DD is afraid of most rollercoasterst that have a hill or sound scary. So she did not want to ride the Yeti. So the first ride we rode was the River rapid. I didnot want to get wet so I waited. I met a nice guy from NJ and we sat and talked. Then we went to ride the Yeti. My daughter waited outside the entrance. Well once I rode it I knew she would like it once she got on. So DS, DN, DNeph and I were trying to convince her to get on. DS said you have to stop being afraid of everything. She said I am not afraid I am just Thrill ride Challenged. We all fell out laughing. :rotfl2::rotfl2: She then decided to get on and absolutely loved it!!!! She got on again and again. I got a call from the other group and they said that Lion King show was going to show soon. The Boys decided they didn't want to see it so we met with the other group and waited to get inside. I loved the fans with the mist. They had one in line. Those are the best. We finally got in for the show and DD and DN were picked to show the dance at the beginning. Here are pictures.

For the last three days we rented a scooter for DBFF and DNana. It was the best thing. My suggestion is NOT to rent from Disney. It's $80.00 dollars per day and you get $20.00 back. I asked the Great Aunt of the family we had met earlier and she said to rent from someone else it's cheaper. So I called a few numbers off the back of scooters and found the cheapest. It was a little over a Hundred dollars and included insurance. The Dad of the family (while on the bus) told us that the Great Aunt demolished 2 Scooters:scared1: and that they were afraid that no one would rent to her this trip!:rotfl2:
Here a few pictures of our room that my DNana had. We took our kids out of school for the trip and my daughter had designated times to do schoolwork all but one of the days. It worked out for us because when we returned from Disney, the G-20 summit was occuring and they didn't have school Wed-Fri and she was able to complete all her assignments and do some bonus work.

The pools were great. Many mornings and evenings there were people in the pools. A few mornings there were 2 ducks in the pools. There were Anoles all around (little lizards). My son used to have them as pets but they still scared me when they ran. There were a few love bugs not many and they were really attracted to white. Here's a blurred picture of the pool. GREAT TRIP REPORT!! And finally....HI!!!
We have put signs on our doors for a couple years now. The middle one, "where are you from" is something we do to compensate for DD missing school. We come home and look all the places on the map. Next year, I'm planning on doing a HUGE world map with stars so anyone who wants can make their state and sign their names. DD is going to be in fourth grade so we thought it would be fun.
The "DO YOU DIS"...soooo much fun! I met several Dis'ers at POP. Next year, I'm adding, "Knock and say HI" to the poster. I wish you would have!! This was our first time at POP, as we usually stay at AS Movies, but we booked the bounceback for POP.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Awww. HI!!!!! I thought about knocking but then I didn't want to seem like I was weird. The day we were at the pool (Saturday), I would occasionally check to see if I caught a glimpse of anyone. Your door was in the perfect spot too!!! I think My DNana signed it too but I am not sure. She took the pictures so she might have signed the state one. I think it's a great idea and perfect for school kids too! I know there were a lot of DIS'ers there because of posting here but I did not meet hardly anyone! We were tempted to do the bounceback but with the economy and my job we decided to wait. :headache:

We got off to a late start. When I did my ten minute morning knock on DBFF Door, we found out that the scooter didn't charge. So we called them and they said they would bring one over right away. DBFF said she would meet us in the park. So off to the bus stop and on our way to DHS. Here's the girls on the bus:
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/chayceandkayla.jpg
When we arrived we head for pizza planet. The CS is good the restaurant looks just like the movie but it is very loud and crowded there. After lunch we head to the star wars ride. It was fun. DBFF called and said that the scooter they brought was damaged on the ride over and they had called for another. The guys took off and it was just us girls. We did Muppets 3D and that was hilarious! We got in line for the backlot tour but then decided not to ride it. It started raining so we decided to do toy story mania! DBFF called and was in the park. We hooked up with her and the scooter, and the guys and decided to to the Great Movie ride. It was OK. I kept hearing the host in the cars in front of us and it was distracting. My DH said because I am too nosy! :headache:  We looked at the times for some of the shows and most of them were a half hour or started at the same time. So we opted to see Indiana Jones. I wanted to see Beauty and the Beast but was out voted. The guys were like no way:laughing: The next show was at 4:00 and it was 2:00 so we decided to ride Aerosmith Rockin Roller coaster! My DD did not want to ride and stayed with DNana and Auntie. It was a blast!!!! DS wanted to ride with me because he wanted to hear and see my reaction to the blast off. The pictures were hilarious at the end. I knew my daughter would love it. But could I get her to ride it. We rode it again and DAuntie said she wanted to ride it after we talked about it so much. We kept trying to convince my DD. My son wanted me to ride the TOT. Now I am not a fun of drops. I can take it in a roller coaster but not over and over again. So after he told me that it wasn't that bad I agreed to go.
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/DSCF0091.jpg
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww329/anlynmack/DSCF0092.jpg
While we were sitting on the ride I told him and DNeph that I would punch and beat them up if it was bad. Well they started giggling and I knew I was in for it. Once we got through the hallway to the other elevator, DS and DNeph started everyone screaming. It was hilarious!! We didn't even drop yet!!! My DS said"Ok Mom do you want to go up or down?" I instinctively said "UP! and then I thought again and said "Down" and that's where we went. :scared1: I was insane and I screamed and hit my son the whole time. He was cracking up!! After I got off of the ride I was beating up my DNeph too. They both laughed at the picture. I was holding on to my sons arm and screaming. I knew my DD would not like that one. So After riding that we decided to head over to Indiana Jones Stunt show. We were able to get front seats!!!! Once the show started I told my DS and DNeph to raise hand to get picked. They didn't so I did! And I got picked to be an extra!! It was fun but soooooo hot under those costumes. Here's some pictures.

The guy in stripes was from Austraila. Really funny and cool guy we joked and laughed the whole time. I wish I could remember his name.
This was the shooting guy scene:

After we were done the Aussie guy asked for beer and we all laughed. They did give you bottle water. The show was great! I have a video but will upload that later. After the show we convinced my DD and DAuntie to ride Aerosmith.

So Everyone except DNana was getting on Aerosmith. While in the ride I was trying keep my DD distracted from the take off part. I was successful and thought the line was going to move past it and we stopped right where you could see it. Well she saw it take off and she and DAuntie started having second thoughts. Good thing the line moved fast and we were getting on before they could run away. She started to whine a bit but there is not that much time to whine on that ride. Once we were in the loops she was screaming. She LOVED IT! The picture was priceless!!! DAuntie's mouth was open so wide and hair was blown back. We all were cracking up. We were going to get the picture and the system went down. I gave them our resort and room number in case the picture was saved.
After that my DD wanted to get on TOT and I knew she would not like that. So we rode the Aerosmith 2 more times. Here are more pictures of various stuff:

Then we had a reservation for SCI FI. So we walked around the stores to kill some time. The boys wanted to ride more and we told them where to meet us. We checked in a SCI FI and they said we couldn't sit together but had to split up. I said as long as we sat in cars we were fine. Everyone LOVED this restaurant. It was great! The food was good! Here are some Pictures:

The movie previews they showed were hilarious!!! One was the Catwomen from Mars. The boys were cracking up at the monsters! I got the drink with the light up star. I highly suggest you get it for your kids they will love it in the atmosphere. By the time we were finished the girls were asleep in their seats and everyone was beat! So we took off for the bus. DBFF and DNana wanted to stretch their legs so I took the scooter and the two sleep girls rode with me. We waited for everyone at the bus stop. I must admit the busses were running smoothly. Next up our last day :scared1::guilty::sad2: No park plans, worn out....what would we do?

Candy, I was afraid to ride RnRC because I have a bad back. But then in 2007 we were chosen to be the first family on the ride so I had to be BRAVE. :rotfl2: Now we ride it every time we go to MGM. :)
DS LOVES Sci Fi. I can take it or leave it, but it is a good spot for a break.
Last day. :guilty: Well, once you have the last day posted you can get to work planning the next trip!!
