BLT access

We own at BLT, but are staying at SSR using DPs. Will we still be able to access BLT to "check it out" without a key? We are only interested in checking out the lobby/common areas and the pool.

We recently purchased BLT and went to "check out" the common areas on Aug 18. We were staying at SSR on developer points.

Had no problem. Walked into lobby....out by pool....got on elevator and strolled through a hallway.....we had no problem.

Ok...maybe things have changed then ? Are u talking about the doors to the bridge ? If so, there is alot of traffic there. Just wait until someone else passes in or out ?

Each day from 2:00pm - 4:00pm the BLT lobby is staffed at the DVC kiosk to welcome DVC members for a tour of a 2BR lockoff villa. You can enter at the ground level, but may be able to access via the walkway as long as you catch someone with key access.

You will need your DVC member card, but they will escort groups or members to the model on the 1st floor of the resort. Afterwards you will be welcome to explore the resort pool area and use the elevators. The TOTWL will not be accessible without a current KTTW card for BLT (that floor can't be reached without entering a valid card).

You do not need to contact your guide to do this. It is available to all DVC members as a walk in during that time each day.

When we visited in July they allowed anyone that showed an interest to tour the property between 2-4pm.

We were not members then and did the tour twice.... we now own at BLT:cool1:
