Flew up to just outside of Detroit MI this past Friday to bring her home to NC. Sold the truck and 5'er and bought a Class A so the DW and DD can "go" without me having to stop every hour on the way down....:rotfl2:

Its a 2009 Winnebago Sightseer 37L. Here (http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22540811) are some pictures of our coach that I managed to snag from the dealer's website before they were taken down. As soon as I get a spare moment, I will take and post some pictures of my own. Now comes the fun of taking all of the "stuff" we took from the 5'er and putting it into its new home.

Now I'll have to find me one of those Mickey in a Motorhome avatars like Shannon has in his signature....

It looks like Uncle Jed, Granny and Ellie Mae are following the natural progression of RV'rs... tent to pop-up to travel trailer to 5th wheel to Class A. :rotfl:

Beautiful rig! We have a 2007 Sunova (Itasca version of Sightseer) and love it. They didn't offer full body paint yet then, and it sure does make the rig look great! Hope to see it at the Fort someday.

Nice
Now you'll make better time getting to the Fort too.

Let us know how training the DW to drive it goes. If you need a blind fold you can use mine.

right click on the image and save picture to your hard drive than load to a photo hosting site ( like www.photobucket.com )and link it to your avatar or signature. It will need to be resized for your avatar. Here is a link to teach you how to do that. It's the 3rd one down http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/video-tutorials/

For what it's worth, I would really prefer no one else use the image shown in PirateJeff's post... that pic of Mickey with the Santa hat with the brown dog and white dog in a blue an silver moho is a custom creation of mine to represent my family and rig specifically. I have digitized, and shared, the original with the red moho and regular Mickey and pluto on-board for everyone to use. Not that I'm claiming any copyright or anything, just hoping for some room for uniqueness. You are welcome to this art:

Wow Duane. That's beautiful.

Why'd you go to Mi to get it? Was it that much cheaper or was that the only place that had one like you wanted?

Very, very nice. That is a great layout. I would suggest changing the shower head to this:

It's the best shower you will ever have in your coach! :thumbsup2

Have a great time at the fort.

Sorry Shan-man

I didn't realize it was a custom one. I removed it
I found it on google doing a search for free clip art images for Fort Wilderness

I was too lazy to scan My Mickey RV license plate and didn't see the differences until you pointed them out. You did a really good job of modifying it

Sorry its taken so long to get back to everyone... Gotta work to pay for the thing...

Since we are coming to the Fort the last week in October, got to get her ready for the road. The DW is pushing me to get all of the "STUFF" from our 5'er that is now in the garage and in a spare bedroom into its new home. I spent the biggest part of last night vacuuming the manufacturing debris (mostly sawdust, and wire clippings) from behind drawers and cabinets. Will try to load all of the "STUFF" this weekend.

Pirate-Jeff and Shannon, thanks for the avatar. Shannon, I do remember that you customized the blue avatar, and wouldn't dream of using anything like that without asking you first. Jeff, thanks for posting.

Jamie, I know it seems like a long way to go for a camper, but I did save quite a bit over the similar one parked at Plemmons. The one that I bought does also have some things on it that I consider deal breakers that the one at Plemmons did not have. I would however, highly recommend Plemmons for anyone who is looking for a camper of any type. The sales guy that I was dealing with there was top notch. I will find ways to "contribute to their retirement" when I can. Since that is the floorplan we were looking for, I could probably tell you where all Sightseers with the floorplan is located anywhere in the country..... I have searched the internet for weeks before finally pulling the trigger....

Mike, thats a nice rig that you have... I hope to see you at the Fort sometime...

Miztig, the french doors was one of the things that sparked interest for the DW. Now since our daughter has turned 13, she feels the need to sleep longer than anyone else. Since she will be in the "living room" on the sofa bed, we can close off that area, close the curtain over the doors, and me and DW can move about in and out without disturbing her. I guess the only negative thing is that the sofa has a built in air bed, so it will have to be inflated and deflated each night and morning. But heck, she's 13 and can do that herself.
