How Crowded on Monday/Tuesday in October?

While I realize no one has a crystal ball to predict crowd levels, I am wondering based on previous years how busy Mondays and Tuesdays in October will be. If it helps at all, I will be at DLP on Monday and Tuesday, October 12 and 13.

What is your experience going to the park on these days of the week or in October in general?

Also any idea as to weather? Probably cool in the mornings and evenings but warm during the day? Thanks in advance for your help.

I've been in very early October, and 1st full week in October, Monday - Wednesday. The parks are quiet midweek, its not yet school holidays (that starts the week after you are there) and you'll get all the lovely Halloween theming.

You're just about right with the weather, we had light fleeces and jogger tops with us, and they were perfect for all of us. We didn't need them from around mid-morning until the parks closed. Little bit of light rain possibly, but not persistent, and nothing that spoils the fun :goodvibes.

Im glad you asked this because im going around the same time and was wondering what sort of clothes to pack.

last year it was quite warm. but in the evenings you would need a light jacket. also i would always be prepared for rain while at dlp. i would say weekdays should be fairly quiet. they were when i went early last year.

Last year October was glorious. We were wearing fleeces or hoodies in the morning and then it warmed up around 11am and meant we could wear just t-shirts and jeans. It gets a little colder again when the sun goes down around 6:30ish.

Queue's midweek were 10-15 minutes maximum but we always find that Monday's are busier than the rest of the week...I guess it's people going for a long weekend.

I loved Halloween so much last year that we are going back this year :thumbsup2

We're hoping for great weather and low crowds, but if not, hey, at least we're at DLP. It's our first time visit, but hopefully not our last. Can't wait.

We arrive on Saturday 10th until Wednesday 14th and after visting during October half term in 2007 and 2008, I am hoping that from the Monday 12th it will be quiet.
