What's the shortest bus to get us there ???
Where do we take it ?? I would guess TTC am I right ???
We would like to go there for a day i jan 2010 .

if you don't have a rental car

your best best bet is to arrange Mears bus transportation. They will pick you up from your hotel (AKL) and take you to Seaworld. They have a schedule of times.



there is no transportation from TTC other than cabs.

another option is use a towncar service, depending on the number of people going it may be cheaper then Mears and you get to set the pickup times.

Actually, you're incorrect. There is transportation from the TTC. It's only about a 35 min bus ride. The schedule can be found at www.golynx.com

The Lynx number 50 runs from the TTC and stops just outside the SW car park.

$2 each way, or if you're going to make multiple bus trips on the day (i.e. to go elsewhere as well) you can get a day pass good for the whole Lynx network for $4.50 from the driver as you board.

We just did this yesterday and it worked great! Ecept, there is a quicker way, you can take the Downtown Disney bus and catch route 50 on the lynx at the corner of the intersection of E. Buena Vista and Hotel Plaza Blvd. From the DTD stop, walk behind the shops, earl of sandwich to the intersection. The stop to sea world is by the " hilton and the bank" side of the street.

The bus has a machine that take money right near the driver , 2.00 for most 1.00 for kids and seniors. The bus also stops a the "super station" near Circ du Solei, but I am not sure how to to tell which stop it is. The bus and the stop both say what route.

Melynny- thanks for the info. We're staying at the Polynesian and the TTC is right there, so would it be more direct/quicker to just get the Lynx 50 right from there do you think? thanks. Amy

Yes, If you are at the poly, its definatly easier to go from the ttc. this thread was from AKL to sea world and thats what we did, so it would have been easier to go dtd direct bus rather than transfer at the ak to ttc. It's a breeze after you get on the bus, clean and airconditioned. The bus driver was very helpful too!
