I feel your frustration Toot&I....I woke up early 90 days before we leave to get reservations for our stay and the ENTIRE weekend was booked....

I checked everyday for a long time before getting a reservation there....turns out it was the biggest disappointment of the trip. In my opinion it was the worst TS meal we had.

I am convinced that Le Cellier is booked solid, forever and ever, by an evil conglomerate run by that notorious, fiendish, evil and just plain not nice guy.........The One........The Only......Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Doofenshmirtz Evil, Inc. :scared1:......and the horrific invention of theirs........

We were able to get one for our upcoming trip. I had to adjust the desired time a little, but we had no trouble (I booked online at exactly the 90 day mark+10). Maybe we're going at a slower time - or maybe we just lucked out??:confused3

I love Le Cellier! They need to expand the seating.

Got one for our trip last week. As usual, best Table service we had. Ask for the waiter "Barry", he was absolutely great.

Don't hate me, but I have two for next week (lunch and dinner).:rotfl: I also already have a dinner ADR at Le Cellier for our Dec trip.

I did not have any problem at all. We have 2 lunch and 2 dinner ADR's for this October/November trip. I booked at about 45 days. I understand that we are going at a "slower" time, but I have never had a problem getting an ADR there (at least for the last 5 or 6 trips). I never try at the 90 day mark, I alway wait until about 6 weeks before we leave.
I love the online reservations too.... It is so much easier.

We got in when we went down in March. I had heard so much about le Cellier that I could not wait. I am fan of a nice steak, so I had high hopes. To be honest though it wasn't very good. I have gotten better prime rib at The Outback. I understand that it is one of the few nice restaurants at EPCOT, but my suggestion would if you can't get reservations there, take a walk to the boardwalk and try The big river brewing company. The food is great and the outside atmosphere is really nice.

I actually had one for our upcoming December trip, but after re-aranging my schedule to fit in with some other things we wanted to do, I decided to let the reservation go and canceled it. I know....the CM that I was talking to could not believe I was cancelling and ADR for Le Cellier either!:scared1:

It's just so small! It's part of the same problem as CRT. Both are relatively small venues. AND are sought after... makes for a bad combination for availability.
Last year, we were so bent on trying the place that we accepted a Lunch ADR. We're not used to having large lunches, man were we sluggish and full ( but wholly satisfied with our meal ) afterwards :) ...

you cant get a reservation because its an awesome restaurant...I ate there on Thanksgiving last year and I know it was Thanksgiving and it was before the 90 day situation. But I had to make ressies in the last week of May.
That place is worth it though...so good!

Have only been there one time and we got up that morning and called for a dinner reservation and got it. I did not care for it at all. The Prime Rib lacked flavor. The restaurant was very small, crowded and noisy. The service was excellent though. I was not the only one in our group not happy with the food.

I was able to snag Le Cellier for my friend's early Dec trip on my first try as well. It may have been just beginner's luck or something but keep trying. Sending you some more good vibes & pixie dust :goodvibes:goodvibespixiedust:pixiedust:

Ok....I wrote that Le Cellier was great. I'm reading a bunch of people who disliked the Prime Rib. I will say, I had the Prime Rib the first time I went and completely agree with everyone else. I was very disappointed in the Rib. However, the Filet Mignon is the way to go at this restaurant. I messed up my first time but haven't looked back since.

I know this sounds like a newbie question....I never totally got the 90 day + thing. What does this mean exactly? :confused3
I'm going in May 2010 and we should be there the 18th for ten days, at the 180 day mark should I call or do I call 10 days before then?? Can someone please help me with this whole making reservations thing?? :flower3:

If you call on the 18th, you can make dining ressies for the entire 10 days of your trip...no need to call back for each and every day of your trip.
And as far as Le Cellier goes, it books up fast because it's a small-ish restaurant and because the word-of-mouth on it has been, for the most part, quite good. I wasn't able to get a reservation 90 days out from our trip, but I checked back on line a couple of times a week and finally, about a month before our trip, a bunch of lunch reservations opened up.
It was, hands down, the best meal we had on our trip a few weeks ago...the warm pretzel bread is to die for, and the filet mignon with mushroom risotto was absolutely delicious.
Good luck with your reservations.

I hate to break this to you Millie but your question wasn't answered yet. And I don't have the answer either as far as what the 90 "+" thing means.
They just started the 180 days out reservations again. That means for our June 2010 trip we can start making dining reservations on Dec17th 09. But I also would like to know what the "+" means.

Lexi already answered quite well.
If you are staying off site you can only make reservations 90 days in advance. So if you are going to wdw jan 3,4,5 you have to call on october 5 to make your reservation for the 3, call on october 6 to make your reservation for the 4 etc.
On site guests have the bonus of 90+10. They can call on October 5 for their trip starting Jan 3 (this is the 90 day mark) and make their reservations up to the 13th, which is where +10 comes from.

the plus means that you get to book for more than one day at a time. For instance, I am staying for 7 days. 90 days before the day I check in I was able to book ressies for my entire stay. You can do this for up to 10 days of your stay. People staying offsite can only book 90 days from the day they plan to dine so essentially end up calling evey morning and making one day's worth of ADR's until they have them all.

Because it is the only 1 TS STEAKHOUSE in WDW
Because it is the most Benign ,simple non ethnic food in World Showcase
Because it is about as tiny inside as my basement
Truthfully, I have had better steaks locally, and with better service. It isn't anything special imho.

I have to say the same. The steak was super salty, but I disagree on the service issue. It was the best ts service we had.

I made LeCellier ADRs at the 90 day mark and had my choice of times. We have eaten their twice..once for lunch and once for dinner. Lunch was great, but dinner was just so-so. This is the tie-breaker.

The mushroom filet IS fab. My husband swears by the New York strip as well. Try the cheddar cheese soup...a little salty though, but a lot decadent! mmmm

I woke up early to do my ADR's and the online system was fairly new, but there was something wrong so I had to wait an hour:surfweb: and then called. That was the first one that I had them look for and basicly planned around LeCellier--whatever day I could I was happy with and I did get lucky. Keep calling back, sometimes people do cancel. Good luck (and it really is good food)

Ive heard all the hype about Le Cellier, but have never been able to get reservations on our 2 trips. When we were walking around F&W the Canadian booth had Cheddar Cheese Soup and I HAD to try it because of all the hype Ive heard about Le Celliers. It was very good :) but I love the salty strong flavors.
Does anyone know if this is the same one they serve at the restaurant?
