Refillable Mugs from DxDP - from another resort?

Will we be allowed to redeem the refillable mugs credit at a different resort?

We are doing a split stay (BCV/SSR), and we're either doing the regular dining plan at BCV then deluxe plan at SSR, or vice versa. We'd rather use the mugs at SSR, so if we do the deluxe plan at BCV, can we wait to redeem the mugs credit until check-out day (and check-in at SSR) - and redeem them at SSR for use there instead?

Anyone had experience doing this? Thanks!

You can... but if you do the Deluxe Plan for the first part of your stay, why not get - and use - the refillable mugs on day one? Current wisdom is apparently the mug is valid for the current visit only.

I'm a little confused - I always assumed a split stay meant 2 separate visits, and that's why I was hoping we could redeem the mug credits at SSR and use them during that "SSR visit"

I'm not sure whether you're suggesting that we can't use the mugs at SSR since that's not part of our BCV visit and our mug credits were from BCV?

Or whether you're suggesting we're allowed to use the mugs at BCV and SSR since it is all 1 visit?

If you still have dining plan credits available to use (didn't expire when you leave one resort and check in to the other), then it should count as one visit.

Besides, all the mugs look the same and it is really only the honesty of the guests that keeps people from bringing them back and using them over and over. Not that anyone here ever does that.;);)

OH I see. I've been avoiding mug threads for so long that I didn't realize all mugs were the same now :lmao:

We used to get resort mugs but we quit getting them when the dining plan started and found that we had more than enough to drink with each meal credit. But since we're trying the deluxe, I knew we'd get mugs -- I'm sure we'll hardly use them anyway but they are nice souvenirs!
