Just found out for DCL

I called to order the pillowcase, story book and cookies for DD3 for our July 20th cruise and DCL has changed companies. They no longer offer it. I thought I would let everone know, because they are sending me a new book to look at. She read everything for the kids and it seems like they no longer have items that deal with the cruise. :(

My sales office faxed me the pages from the book while I wait on the mail and it does look like they have some cute DCL exclusive stuff but it's hard to see on the fax.
I was disappointed that they do not have the pillow case or the "mouse takes the cheese" cutting board! :(

Are their any Disney pillowcases at Pennys or Sears or somewhere that you could buy for your kids, take on the cruise and ask the characters to autograph? Not the "same" but perhaps a new tradition??

They had previously discontinued the pillowcase but brought it back due to popular demand. If it has again been discontinued due to a change in distributors, I hope they can make arrangements to reinstate this popular item.

For those wanting to have a pillowcase signed.....we recently purchased a pillowcase from one of the kiosks at our local mall and my daughter had her favorite picture put on it (like they do for t-shirts). I am sure you could do this with any picture of Mickey or other Disney character. Then just bring the pillowcase to guest service and leave it for the characters to sign.

The pillowcase was about 12x12 square with a pretty ruffle around it and the whole deal cost about $13 bucks. I do not know if the kiosks would just put the picture on one of your own pillowcases or one that was purchase elsewhere. You would have to ask them.
