Weather & Laundry?

We'll be spending the 1st week in Aug in DL/San Diego. What should we expect for weather? Is there much of a difference between what we'll find in DL compared to San Diego? Also, does anyone know if the Grand Californian has laundry facilities? Thanks for any help.

It will be hot in August, but tolerable. Disneyland will be hotter than San Diego because it's more inland, but San Diego will be more humid. Check the site www.wunderground.com. They have temperatures from the past several years, so you should be able to get a good idea of what it'll be like.

As far as laundry at the Grand Californian, I'm not for certain, but surely they'd have laundry facilities. Check the Disneyland web site.

Yes, the GC does have a laundrette.

Weather in Anaheim will probably be anywhere from the upper 70s to the low 90s in August. We have very little humidity, though, and the nights cool down quite a bit.

San Diego is coastal and quite a bit cooler; the beach areas rarely get above 85 and are very comfortable year-round.
