I don't want to bring a back pack this time. I would like to have a bag that I can carry only a few things. I've seen Vera Bradley Hipster but I don't know where in Canada I can get them? It doesn't have to be this bag but something small.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I have a Kipling expandable messenger bag that I love for travel. It's small but you can pack a lot in there. Last year I kept my poncho, camera, and sunglasses in there. It's about the size of a big fanny pack and the strap goes over your shoulder so it doesn't slip off. It was a bit pricey but I use it everytime I travel. They sell it at the Bay and luggage stores.

Lugs seem to have a few good choices. I have seen them to buy in quite a few places. I know for sure Chapters and the Hallmark store sell them.

We got our "theme park bag" years ago at Eddie Bauer. Its the size of a DVD but we can fit our camera, a bottle of water and a tiny wallet. It also has a couple of little zippered spots perfect for resort id's!
We got it after christmas at a boxing day sale from what I remember and I think it cost us 10.00. That was however Im think around 1999. But we still use it. I can even get DH to carry it.

MEC (Mountain Equipment Co Op) has a huge selection in all different sizes and colours. You can order online if there isn't a store near you.

I just ordered this one from Disney.com and I think that it is going to work out great. It's a lot bigger than what it looks like.

I have a Crumpler bag which holds my wallet, sunglasses and P&S camera and a few other things. The model is called the Status Belly. The only downside about the bag is that it has a giant piece of velcro which keeps it closed. It's really loud when you open your bag but at least you know it will never accidentally open either :)

I bought a Kippling...looks like this: http://kip.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p6530668v380.jpg
I got it at The Bay on sale for $39. No choice of colour, but for the price I was just fine with it. It is big enough to carry my camcorder, camera, wallet, and other necessities but light enough that it ads no bulk, only the weight of what you carry. The fact that I can wipe it down and that it won't be affected too much by rain was a selling point.
I probably would have preferred this one: http://kip.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p6530666v380.jpg but it was still regular price ($60 I think) and didn't want to spend more than I had to.
I find it very comfy to wear cross body (so far) I used to have a Heys that I brought to the parks 3 years ago and hated it. the strap cover piece would always slide, it could only be worn at the hip, etc etc.

I've used a small travel "purse" on my previous trips

The patchwork is courtesy of my sister ;)
For my next trip, I'll be trying out the Heys TravelMate

These come in a wide variety of colours. It's even large enough to fit a bottle of water inside, which is a big :thumbsup2 for me
Apparently they are grand spanken Canadian too! Head on over to their website for a peek: Heys Luggage and Handbags (http://shop.heys.ca/)

I just got the Heys travel mate bag at Zellers for $22.97, the same price as on the Heys site but with no shipping charge. They have great colours and I like that it can be wiped down if it gets dirty. They have a larger leather one on the Heys site but I don't want to lug something that large around all day.

We like the pods from M.E.C. Just big enough for maps, autugraph books, water bottle poncho etc but not too big and clumsy on rides. Kim

I've tried the Heys Travelmate, a cross body Route 66 bag from AAA, and a Vera Bradley Hipster at WDW. I LOVED the Vera Bradley Hipster the most! It's so light weight, holds so much, and is so much fun. I carried park maps, wallet, camera, bottle of water, pens, etc. My DD bought a mini-hipster and it was perfect for all her stuff!
I bought mine in Daytona Beach when we drove down this summer, but I think you can order them online through ebags.com or QVC.com. If you check the Vera Bradley website, you may be able to find a store near you. There are 3 stores in Canada, I believe. I'm hoping to check out the one in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Good luck!
