Am I correct in thinking that I can book this on-line? Do I just choose a time between 1pm and 1:40pm and I will receive a voucher/pass for the show on the day? That is all? It seems far too easy! ;) :rotfl2:

Can I ask, what is a Nemo package please.

I know there is a show but do not know what the above is.

Thanks :goodvibes

We did this Elaine :thumbsup2
It is exactly as you describe. Just make sure you ask your server for a voucher to the Finding Nemo show.
There is a seperate entrance with preferred seating over on the right-hand side.
I think we arrived about 30 minutes before the start of the show and were seated on the 2nd row :)

Food at Tusker House was a lovely change from the usual burgers, ribs etc :goodvibes

ooh this is good news as this did not exist when we went last year. Is it just Tusker House that offer the package? Is it for a certain show time?

Thanks

Hello,

I get the impression that if you eat at Tusker, you then get exclusive tickets to see the Nemo show? Is that correct?

Would we be able to do this if used our free dining plan for this meal?

How long exactly is the show - for example when we went to disneyland paris the show was around 20 mins - is this the same or do you get a longer show?

Just found info - you have to book for lunch between 1pm and 1.40pm and you get resereved seating at the 3.15pm Nemo show.

Sounds like a good plan to me if you can get it!!!

Hello, thanks for that info.

Does it say if you can use the free dining plan ? :goodvibes

I wonder how long the show is?

I think the show lasts about 40 mins - someone else may confirm this.

yes you can use the dining plan for this - again someone may confirm, but Tusker House is included in the dining plan, and I know in DHS you can use the dining plan for the Fantasmic package -so think it will be exactly the same here. And we are planning on using the plan for it - providing we can get a reservation within that time slot!

Thanks for the info on this. We ate at Tusker House for lunch last time we were there and really enjoyed it - and as we are in AK for a day it would make sense to plan a meal that will cut down on waiting time for an attraction :thumbsup2

Whether or not they have any reservations left for the day we are going though is doubtful as we are well within our 90 day window.
Fingers crossed :worship:

show is around half hour long and its really good, we arrived around 10 mins before show time the other week and got great seats

We booked the tusker house for breakfast on free dining so I would imagine the lunch will be o the dining plan as well

The food was really good, we couldnt get a lunch reservation while we were there but will try it next year

Thank you everyone. :goodvibes

We loved the Finding Nemo show last time and always enjoyed Tusker House when it was counter service so are looking forward to trying it as a buffet.

Good luck to everyone who wants to book it. :wizard:

the show is 37 minutes long (the CMs working there repeat this over and over to the families with screaming babies - "the show is 37 minutes long, you might want to consider sitting closer to the exit so that you can leave easily"..)

anyway, it's 37 minutes long and we LOVE it...we saw it 5 times the last time we were at WDW...

and yes, the buffet lunch at tusker house is 1 table service credit per person..

Thanks for the heads up on this.

DW rang WDW yesterday and managed to book us in for dinner at 1.10pm on the day that we had planned to go to AK :thumbsup2

We have done dinner here before and really enjoyed it. We just walked up last time and had planned on trying the same - however we decided to book based on the fact that we will get the seats for Nemo. We have never seen this show before so it will be yet another first for us this trip

Thanks Guys

Oh I'll be looking forward to hearing all the reports of how people got on with this Tusker House/Nemo Show deal as its's something I thought we'd probably do when we go next year. I can't be doing with having to queue for hours with young children in tow :scared1: as I'm sure we'll being doing a fair amount of that anyway! :rotfl:

Do you get the Nemo tickets automatically when you book a meal between 1pm-1.40pm - or do you have to ask for it when you book (like the FDP) - so can it be done with an online reservation?

It is a really good show - but we had to quueue up for about 40 mins when we went last time - and that is no fun with kids in the August heat!!

DW tells me that the CM on the end of the phone yesterday mentioned that we would get the voucher/ticket - without DW having to mention it at all.
She was told to ask for it at the meal if it isn't presented to us.

Thanks - that is good to know. Looks like an online reservation would be ok then as long as it is between those times.

Thanks!

I think it will depend on the waiting staff. We had to remind our waiter :goodvibes

we liked it a lot the first time, but even more the second time - when we knew the music....since the music was written for the show (it's not in the movie) it was new to us the first time we saw it...

also, there were tons of things i only noticed on 2nd viewing....
so much is going on at the same time, you can miss things...

(plus during our first show we had a SCREAMING baby right near us....the mother kept trying to make the baby watch the show -...and i mean baby....less than a year old....there was no way a baby that young would be interested...the mother kept holding the baby's head facing towards the stage.....unbelievable....the CM kept coming over to her and gently suggesting she might want to sit closer to the exit.....which i think was his way of saying "LADY GET the H--- out of here"
anyway, she finally left with only 5 minutes to go...so the second time we saw it, it was like seeing it for the first time)..

We went at the end of July/beginning of August and turned up 15 minutes before the show started and didn't have to queue at all. Most people had already been seated and we just walked straight in. We had a good view. Lots of people came in after us and everyone was asked to move closer together but we weren't squashed, the capacity of that theatre is enormous.

We got fast passes from a cast member giving them out at the central fast pass distribution point, just after park opening. We did the Kali River Rapids twice before wondering down the the Nemo theatre. We were absolutely soaked so the air conditioning was a little harsh.

Thought the show was absolutely brilliant. I was really impressed with the way it was choreographed. Also, the way the performers put so much into the puppets as well as acting their parts too.
