View Full Version : Nikon 50mm f1/4 or Tokina 12-24mm f/4?

I know, I'm not comparing the same things. :eek::rolleyes1

I have the Nikon 35mm f/1.8, so would you go for the wider Tokina or the faster Nikon?

I keep going back & forth on this & I need to decide today because I want it before we leave next Friday.

Definitely the Tokina. The Nikon isn't even a full stop faster. You're on a crop camera so you may also find the 85mm equiv. limiting in indoor low light conditions.

I go with the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 as you have fast glass covered.
