^ Several places are cheaper if you're willing to do wait on a VISA pre-paid card as a rebate.

I'm currently waiting on 2 rebates from Sandisk for purchasing 6 Extreme IV CF cards.

At least their in the system...that is always the part I worry about the most. Once they pop up on the website...I've never had problems.

I have ordered about 30-40 cards in the history of the rebates, and have never had a problem (knock on wood)

Just ordered 9 more cards last week that I'm about to mail in the rebates on.

Well if you got into the digicam game early then those 32MB and even 512MB cards don't go very far anymore. Also its very likely that he's had to go between at least two formats as his current cam uses CF. In my time using a digital camera I've used Smart Media->SD->and now CF.

Cards can add up quickly because of that.

I have 24 GB worth of cards that my fiancee and I use. I have sold the rest on eBay (and am going to sell all 9 of the cards I just bought). Have to find anyway you can to fund that camera addiction when you're a poor student!

Ahh! Great idea! I am beginning to understand the poor student thing as a mom who didn't go to college but is now trying to put a daughter thru BU!!
Good luck!
