Airport to WDW

If I get accepted...I will be traveling alone probably and via airplane with as many bags as I can carry...

How do I get to WDW? I'd follow the Yellow Brick Road, but I can't carry all my bags!:moped:

You'll probably want to take a taxi or a shuttle. I used Mears. They offer bus-like shuttles and individual town cars. Once you get to Vista Way there will be an area to store your luggage during check in.

Mears is MUCH cheaper than a taxi. If I remember correctly, Mears is somewhere around $15-20 (plus tip) and a taxi can be over $40 if you hit bad traffic, since they don't have a flat rate. Mears is a flat rate and, who knows, you may meet some people in the van who are also headed to Vista for check-in :)

Also, I don't know if they still do this, although I don't know why they wouldn't, but when I went down for my alumni program, they had a bus to take those of us who flew down from Vista to Chatham or Patterson, if you were living there, after checking in. You dropped your bags off near the bus pick-up and then went through check-in and, when you were done, got on the bus to head home. It worked out really well.

The best way to get down to Vista from the airport is using Mears. They have a shuttle service that costs $20 but they should offer a round trip ticket for $33 (I have one of those right now). After you register at Vista, there is a bus that will take you to your complex.

I used a taxi and it was $25 total at the most, but I shared it with another CPer.

You won't really run into traffic coming from the airport if they take the back way, only if they hit the freeway.

Mears is a good option too.

Yeah I remember Mears offered a coupon for CPers going to and from the airport- don't know if they still do that but Mears is cheaper than a taxi :)
