Could anyone tell me when the original free dining plan went to.. did it stretch into October?? We are thinking about getting married next year down in Disney.. And would like to do it on 10/10/10.. Make it a little cheaper if it was free dining.. And cheaper for those who want to come down for it and do the whole experience..

Last year, the last day for free dining required a check in date of somewhere around the first week of October. Free dining was extended this year due to the economy, to drive more people to WDW.
But if the economy picks up, I wouldn't count on free dining past the Sept/Oct overlap. Nothing is set in stone when it comes to these promotions.

The first year it was offered it did extend into mid October. However, since then it has ended around Sept 28, only lasting about 30 days. This year it has returned to October 3, starting August 16, and then the addition of the new free dining offer that is valid for select dates on into December. This latest offer is different than what has been available in the past. The plan that you receive is based on what level of resort you chose. Also, in the past there have been regular plan offers for Disney Visa holders.

Hi,
Just returned from free dining. We had the bounceback offer for 2010 in our room (we did book it too!).
The bounceback offer for 2010 is good from Aug. 15-Sept. 30.
Now granted, the bounceback dates and what is offered later to the general public do not always mesh exactly, but traditionally they're close.
