Hello there, I hope you can help, I have been reading posts on this forum for a while and now with just 12 days to go until our first trip, I thought I would ask some of my own questions which I can't seem to find an answer for !
We are flying with EasyJet and have no transfer, I have been advised there is a shuttle and it works out around £60. However I have also been told a taxi may be as cheap as this, can anyone confirm ?
We have Premium Vouchers which we paid £36 per adult and £13 per child (children are 9 and 5), we are trying to find restaurants that are suitable and which we can use the vouchers in. (Park closes as 7pm so we are a bit limited).
So we have booked Inventions, The Wild West Show, Cafe Mickey and Manhattan but looking at the menu's prices I am thinking at some we may have to pay extra.
Soes anyone know the value of the vouchers ? We paid in pounds so I presume we would just change to euro to find value ?
I can't see what the children's menu is at Manhattan, is it suitable for children ?
We plan to go to the park during the day and then about 7pm head back to hotel (cheyenne) and get ready and go for dinner at 8/8.30pm - is this a good time, I know it will be busy but we prefer to eat later, bearing in mind the park will be closed so we want to fill up our evenings !
What time is the parade ? or parades ?
We are Disney virgins ! And trying to find out what we can so we are prepared for when we go. Plan to take snacks for during the day from home (cereal bars, nuts, cheddars etc maybe buy an ice cream etc).
Really hoping we have a magical time, my hubby is of the opinion it will just be like Alton Towers, but I have explained that Disney will be more than that ! I have wanted to go to Disney since I was a little girl (I am 34) so me and our daughters are so excited !
I didn't book princess meal as we could only have a lunch time and the food didn't look up to much for the kids (the adults did tho - yum) !!!!!
So really I am just looking for opinions and where to go, what to do !
The Blue Lagoon looks lovely but last lunch at 2pm and no dinner, which is no good for us.
Sorry for all the questions, can you tell I'm EXCITED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

look up the price of rs transport for an idea

for inventions and buffalo bills a premium voucher will cover the whole meal - obviously alcohol is extra. For california grill, manhattan, cafe mickey and yacht club there is a set menu for the premium vouchers, so if you eat off that there will be no more to pay except drinks.
i can't see what the children's menu is at manhattan, is it suitable for children ?
sorry don't know the answer to this but expect it would be

with the free dining, you may be better booking your meals to ensure a table. The number is in the useful info sticky.

much much better than at, honest!

if you have girls, this really is a wonderful use of the premium vouchers. There is enough they will eat even if they don't eat the whole 3 courses - 4 if you include the delicious hot bread rolls.
so really i am just looking for opinions and where to go, what to do !

Oooh Disneyland Paris is soooooooo nothing like Alton Towers - I look at the "characters" they occasionally bring out at Alton Towers and go "uurgghh" - no way would I want to hug any of them, but you can't stop me hugging Goofy when I'm at DLRP :lmao:!

Hello and welcome
I would also recommend someone like RS transports instead of waiting for the VEA bus. The cost is probably not much different for 4 of you and they will be waiting for you when you arrive and drop you at your hotel. With the VEA you may have to wait for one to arrive and if its busy you may not get on and have to wait even longer.
I would also recommend the Princess lunch - the food is delicious and my DD (9) has always loved the childrens food. The interaction your girls will get from the Princesses will be worth it
We were going to eat at Manhatten last yr and changed our mind - it looked nice but the menu wasnt brilliant. Its just been closed for refurbishment so I dont know if the menu has changed but it was Italian food and as far as I can remember the childrens meal was either pizza or pasta. I did take a photo of it last yr and posted it on the Restaurant sticky but Im not sure how clear it was
Its probably worth booking your restaurants but you can change your mind and cancel so you could look at the Manhatten menu when you arrive and then cancel if you dont like the look of it. All restaurants have the menus outside and if you walk from Cheyenne to the parks you will pass New York where Manhatten is

Thank you Britchic, I have booked the meals, but I keep rethinking on Auberge..............they are not girly girls, but the whole experience looks wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to ask them tonight, see what they think ! The bread rolls will go down a treat regardless and the adults menu looks fab !
Thanks so much for all your advice !
Thank you DLPDaft for the warm welcome, I have been reading for a few months, glad I took the plunge and joined !
Thanks Manx - I don't mind paying 120e as I have budgeted for that, I will check the link you suggested !
Thanks Small world, I think you are right at the end of the day we can change our mind, the manhatten looks lovely but a bit over complicated for our two !!!!!!
I am off to read all the restuarant reviews, thanks for all the tips and advice !

You might find I'm biased, we have been to Auberge 3 times and go again next month. My daughter (4) calls it the Princess Cafe and is desperate to go there again. If you do decide to go, take princess dresses for them if they are into that, as most girls in there will be wearing them.

And the dresses are very very expensive to buy there
