Do you get the lego catalog? we i ordered it for him and so did my mom. so we always get two. and he loves that day. we have to sit right down at the table and go over it and oooohhhh and aaaahhhh over all the sets!!!he's a maniac! well the have the millennium falcon (maybe?:scared1:) and it's $500.00. it's usually on the last page. well, he has been trying to convince everyone he knows that he needs it......they now have a midi version! i went and got it the other night at walmart so i'll be sure it will be under the tree! not chancing it! he is going to the brickmaster club at toys r us once a month on Saturdays. He counts the days in between meetings!!!!

Ok, well if you HAD to have them and they were giving them away, I guess your sponsor is off the hook. :lmao:

Don't apologize for rambling to me about Legos! My little man (at age 4, mind you) is crazy about them. They can occupy him for hours-seriously! And not just the actual Legos, the other day it was really quiet so I went to check on him and he was just sitting there looking at the instruction manuals! We don't get the catalog, but I'm thinking after the instruction manuals we need to get the catalog. And there may be a millinium falcon on my little man's list too.

:lmao: You gotta do, what you gotta do! I think we are going to get the advent calendar for DS- I showed DH and he's just as excited. Now I just have to figure out what is equal for a 9.5 year old tween girl that's into electronics and Harry Potter. :scared:

She used to love Littlest Pet Shop, now it just sits in her closet. Along with her Hannah and HSM dolls and her American Girl dolls. *sigh* I need to get her to start working on a Christmas list, then maybe I'll have some ideas. :confused3

My 4.5 year old is super into Legos, too. I think we bought him almost all of the Power Miners sets when we were at DTD in August! Now, he wants the City sets and some Star Wars! Yikes! I'll have to get him the advent calendar for sure. Where do I get those? Lego.com?

Forgive me if I'm telling you something you already know, but there's a *free* Lego magazine. (Different from the Brickmaster one and the catalog(s)...)

Here's the link to sign up:

http://club1.lego.com/en-US/legomagazine/default.aspx

There's also a slightly different one (but also free) for kids under 6 years old - but both are great. (See the bottom of the magazine page link.)

I think it comes every other month - my kids grab it out of the mailbox so fast, my head spins! They love it and save and pore over all the back issues, too.

This free mag(s) offer is good for other countries, too, not just the US.

Hope this helps someone!

PrincessM is the same. Funnily enough, she went through some of her toys last weekend, getting rid of Polly Pocket and some Barbies, but when she saw the LPS stuff in with the PP stuff, she dug it out. Don't know exactly what that means, but...

Did I mention that she wants to redecorate her room? She wants to paint it dark purple and decorate with skulls...Seriously? I'm not ready for this. :headache:

:rotfl2: I's sorry Jennifer. I know it isn't funny to you. But skulls?? :rotfl2:
What the heck is that girl thinking??

If you get the free Lego magazine has almost the same stuff inside as the Brickmaster. Except the Brickmaster comes with the poster, a different challenge and extra build instructions. My boys were more slightly disappointed when the first Brickmaster arrived. They were hoping for more. The devour the Lego magazines when they arrive. We got the newest catalog too. Lots of circled things. :lmao:

I have no freakin' clue! Skulls? Skulls? Of all things, skulls!

I told her that we were having a lean Christmas because we want to go on the cruise next October. So, she could either do it for Christmas or her birthday next July. I was hoping she would say next July, and would have changed her mind by then. Skulls!

I tried to get her to let me take LPS to Goodwill when we moved, but she wasn't ready to let it go. Seriously, it is now just taking up space.

Fortunately DD doesn't get the skull popularity at the moment. She would totally love the dark purple though! I can feel the room update coming- she has the same quilt she had when she was 2.
