anyone stay @ SpringHill Suites @ Marriott Village?

We have friends who will be staying there the same time we are in FL and would like to visit them. However, I read that it is a "gated community" w/24 hr security. How difficult will it be for us to get in to see them? We would like to surprise them, so they won't be able to leave are name at the gate or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When we were there last Jan it was very easy to get into the gate---we just said 'checking in" to the guard. I am going the end of this month so if this would give you enough time, I'll add to this post when we return.

Thank you for the info. We are leaving the 2nd week of August so your info upon your return would be great. I hope we can surprise them, they don't even know we are going to Disney;) he-he.
