Calling all Dallas Texas area Diser's

I am going to be in Arlington Texas next month attending a conference and wondered if any Dallas Area DISer's would be interested in meeting for Dinner on my Free night from the Conference.

My free night is Wednesday, October 14th, our last session for the day ends at 5:00 p.m. I will have a rental car, so I can meet the group any where in the region.

Let me know if you are interested and if you have any suggestions on where we can meet up.

We live in the Dallas area, very liberally considered Dallas area, 3 hours away, but would love to have a meet, though wife has me going in another direction that week. I've always been curious how many DISers live in the Dallas area?

I actually live in Indiana, but will be in the Dallas area attending a conference and thought it would be nice to meet up with some DISers while I am down there. Unfortunately, that is the only time I available on this trip.

No I was not on PCC 1.0. I will be at DAP and on PCC 2.0.

Since I don't know the area that well, only been down to Dallas, once before, do you have any suggestions on where to meet? I will be in Arlington, but am willing to meet you anywhere.

I am in Fort Worth. I am not sure if I will be in town the day you are here. I will know more about my work plans at the end of the month. Where in Arlington is your meeting? If you let me know the hotel you are at, I could let you know some good meeting places. Arlington is in the mid cities (between Dallas and Fort Worth) and is a bit spread out. Driving around the metroroplex can be a bit difficult if you are not used to it.

Once we know where you will be, I am sure we can help pick a location for a meet! If I miss you in DFW, I will still get to meet you at DAP!:hippie:

We live right next to Denton (Corinth). It's a small world. If you have never been to Fort Worth, Go! I HIGHLY suggest Joe T. Garcia's in Fort Worth for mexican food. Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 We won't be able to attend because of sports obligations with the children. But if you go, have some salsa for me! Also, there is the Fort Worth Stockyards that has a famous steakhouse called Cattlemen's Steak House. They have great steak! :thumbsup2
