Getting Desert to go??

I know i've read reviews of people who have gotten desert to go at some restaurants when on the dining plan... But obviously not all deserts are good for travel..What are some items you may have been given to go as a substitute? Thanks!

The waiter/waitress will suggest what desserts are good to go.

The only place I have gotten desserts to go is WCC. The first time the waitress suggested, the second time we ordered what we wanted to be boxed up without asking which ones they thought would travel well.

We got our sticky toffee pudding to go at Rose and Crown in '07. it's better warm, but we weren't complaining! LOL
