We have tix for the November 1st edition of the Halloween party. What should we expect re: crowd levels? Do they sell tix to this even to get the park to capacity, or is there a limited number of tix available, making the crowds manageable? Thanks in advance for any wisdom offered.

All the hard ticket parties have only a certain number of tickets sold, so getting the park to "capacity" isn't an issue. Even if the party sells out, it will be a lot less crowded than a super busy "regular" day in the parks.

I would get tickets soon. Halloween has already sold out. That means that people who planned to go on Halloween and can't get it might decide to try again the first!

We will be there! I'm so excited :cheer2: We arrive in WDW on 10/31 so 11/1works better for us. And, we were hoping it would not be as crowded as 10/31.

We went to the Pirate and Princess party in 2008. It was awesome! The crowd levels were much lower than we were used to. Toward the end of the night, my DD and I rode Splash Mountain 7 times in a row. We just walked on until Midnight.

Expect lots of candy.

We have gone twice on the last night of the party and the amount of candy we left with was incredible. On our last trip we packed all of our candy in the diaper box we brought down. We weighed it at the airport and it was 24 lbs. No kidding.

We have pictures of my daughter sitting in this huge mound of candy. By the end of the night the CM's were just giving out full bags. For someone who hasn't trick or treated in 35 years, it was sure a lot of fun.

There is a MNSSHP tips thread on the theme park attractions & strategies page that had a lot of great ideas: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2236300

And here is another great MNSSHP article with good tips: http://*********************.wordpress.com/2009/09/11/tips-for-mickey%e2%80%99s-not-so-scary-halloween-party-in-the-magic-kingdom-at-walt-disney-world-resort/

I'm a local and go to MNSSHP at least twice (Sometimes More) every year. I have been to a party on Nov 1st and my best advice is to bring your own Trick or Treat Candy Bag. A LARGE Sturdy bag. Cast members are trying to distribute what's left of the candy on the last night and the plastic bags they give you are dinky. I have had cast members hand me FULL bags of candy when exiting the park. Most of all...HAVE FUN!
