I am thinking about adding the QS plan to our Boardwalk Villas reservation, but I have a few questions.
I have reserved the Villas through a RCI timeshare exchange. Can I still add the plan?
If so, can the "non alcholic beverages" on the plan be a Cappuccino or Latte with a meal? Can it be a snack?
If I am paying OOP, is there tax on the meals?
What is the cost of a refillable mug?
I am trying to figure out if the QS plan is worth it for me, so I am trying to price things out ahead of time. For example, while the meals include a dessert, we will probably only take it sometimes.
Thanks for any help
Julia

There is a sticky thread on here that is "everything you ever wanted to know about the dining plans".
I don't know what the drink options are on the QS plan. It might just be the standard soft drinks and bottled drinks. Might also depend on the dining location (which seems to be the answer for many questions at Disney).
I believe that the coffee drinks at most places can be a snack credit. I have heard that you can't get any additional flavorings or toppings though (once again, may depend on location).
yes there is tax on meals OOP. I think it is 6 or 7%.
The Dining plan price is plus tax as well so it's included up front.
Refillable mug is 12.99 plus tax

Thanks,
I have read the sticky thread on "everything you ever wanted to know about the dining plans". But my questions about drinks weren't on there.
Does anyone know?

I cannot think of any CS that sell food and also cappucinos or lattes. I am not a coffee drinker so I was probably not paying attention. But I think they don't have them. If they do have them, there aren't many.
You will not be able to substitute a snack for your beverage.

It is at the Boardwalk bakery.
The cost is like this:
Coffee or Hot Tea $1.89
Hot Cocoa $1.89
Espresso Single $2.69; Double $3.39
Cappuccino or Latte Single $3.19; Double $4.19
I wasn't thinking of subbing a snack for a beverage. I was actually wondering if a latte could be a snack, or a latte could be the non alcoholic beverage with a meal.

On the confirmed snacks sticky.. It lists capuccinos at a few places as snacks (Enchanted Grove in Fantsyland for one) so I am sure you could get it as a snack credit maybe not as drink with meal though.
Did you find out if you can add the plan with an RCI exchange?

I do understand that you can add the plan with the RCI exchange but I do not know how to go about it...you might try looking on the DVC board or posting there.
