Just got back!!

WOW just got back from my June 29th Cruise on the Disney Magic, and i LOVED IT! I think i might have seen Amzey at Port Canaveral but that was probably it, we didn't meet. The Cruise was great, the islands were BEAUTIFUL, and the boys were cute.

My mom was THE coolest mom there ,she let me and my 2 friends have a room by ourselves. It was a small intirior room( no windows), a queen sized bed and then a pull out couch. So there was just enough room for the 3 of us. We were on the 6th floor, so we got our excersize running up and down those stairs.

Common Grounds was soooo great, just FREEZING inside!!! Oh my GOSH it was soo cold! the counselors were soo cool: Jen, Shannon, Amber, and Arnaldo aka Arnie aka Pocahontas! The dances were soo fun, it was too funny to see the guys take off their shirts when they danced to "Im to sexy for my shirt". It was cool this time because the counselors had activites that was just for the 16/17 year olds so i made a bunch of friends that were just 16/17 an hung out with them basically the whole time. We all ate at the same time, 8:30 so we would all eat in the same resturaunts and some nights. On some nights one of our parents would leave and it would just be a table of older teens, it was alot of fun.

On St. thomas i went shopping and got alot of cool stuff for really cheap like jewlery and little gifts for friends. I am going to starting bugging my mom about taking me on another cruise for a Graduation present. I had such a great time, if you have the chance to go on of of these cruises, take FULL advantage of it.

Also, to me it seemed that if you were anti social, you wouldn't like Common Grounds. I have 2 brothers that still had a great time on the cruise but never went into CG. CG is a place where you meet other people, and if you are not willing to meet other people and make friends, then you wont like it.

I can totally relate to everything you just said execpt for the St. Thomas part (because we didn't go there)! I agree, COMMON GROUNDS WAS WAYY TOO COLD!! It was freezing in there! I mean "Hello are you nuts?" Turn down the AC!!!

Hey Maggie! I thought that was you at Port Canaveral also, maybe I was right! Were you in line behind me and then my crazy parents hadn't filled out the forms yet so I had to get in line behind you? LOL for some reason I had a feeling that it might have been you.. but if it wasn't I didn't want to seem like a nut by asking you. Were you wearing like a blue tank top/halter type thing?

Also, did you come out on the aft overlook like maybe an hour or two after we boarded with 2 other girls and say something like "hey, we finally found it!"? That was the only other time I thought it may have been you, but again, in case it wasn't, I didn't want to look stupid.

Anyway, I had a wonderful time too! Did some adult stuff (yes, I'm a bad girl.. but hey, I'm 18 next month) and mostly the family activities.. I checked out the CG activities but they just weren't for me. I had a blast at family karaoke.. that was just tooo funny.. did you catch any of that?

So sad to be home!

YEAH THAT WAS MEE!!! i didn't want to say anything to you ethier cuz i was thinking that you would think i was some kind of freak like "AMY?" and you have no idea who i was!!! ANd i did see you again, i think it was by the Vista Spa. The two other girls who were with me were my 2 friends who came with us on the cruise. I am trying to get my mom to let us go on another cruise as a graduation present. I dont know if it will be another Disney one. Maybe one that goes down the Mexican Riviera.. Like to puerto viarta and all thsoe good places!

OMG that's so funny that we both saw each other and didn't say anything, LOL. Aaah, I want to go on another cruise too! Mexican Riviera, that sounds fun! I've cruised on other lines in the past and had a great time. I wanna go back on Disney though! Since I'll be 18, I could go without my family.. just need to find some friends who'd be willing to come too. Maybe I'll meet someone in college who likes Disney cruises, hehe.
Didn't you say that you guys were going to WDW after the cruise? Did you end up doing that? We stayed at the BWI.. it was neat but I was so bummed after leaving the ship that it wasn't as much fun as it normally would be.

Now i feel like a dork because i didn't say anything! If i went on another disney cruise, i would still be 17, and i would love to go again!! How cool would that be to go on a cruise with JUST your friends.. no adults! That would be sooo much fun, I dont think my parents trust me THAT much hehe. After the cruise, we went to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, and we stayed in the Hard Rock Hotel (REALLY NICE, the pillows are sooo nice). I hated comming home, after all that excitement all i get is a 6 hour flight home. Bummer!
