Long story short...I JUST GOT ENGAGED 9/3/09 (if anyone wants to read about it I wrote a REALLY REALLY long proposal story that I'm about to post very word/picture heavy so just brace yourself to be bored to tears if you open it)

I'm Engaged, I'm having a Disney Wedding NOW WHAT?

I am getting Carrie's Passporter right after I finish posting my engagement report but I just know the online version won't cut it, I'm a very have to have it in my hand to focus on it kind of girl.

I have read that some of you have gotten it binded/printed in black and white etc. (but I can't find that thread anywhere)

Which company is the best to send to, what's the best format? Cheapest? We have a Kinko's (or Fedex whatever) but I feel like that might be more expensive than some online vendors

Any help for a newbie? Lurkyloo where are you? :)

Thanks

I have been wondering this as well! I keep putting off purchasing it because I am also the type that needs a physical, hands on copy.

I'm not sure if memory serves me correctly, but I think the website www.lulu.com has been recommended as a good place to have that book printed and bound.

Thanks ladies! I ended up buying the book after checkout lulu it looks a lot easier to deal with lulu thank kinko's! an anyone who is planning a wedding at disney, I don't see how they can do it without this book! seriously. WOW

if the ebook form is what's holding you back

from pg 202:

"Printing

We’ve carefully formatted this document so it can be printed easily. There are a variety of ways to do it, depending on your needs. Here are the details:
Simple Print—Just press the Print button or select Print from your File menu while you’re in Adobe Acrobat. What you see is what you get.

Print for PassPorter—To print this e-book so it can be placed into your deluxe
PassPorter, you’ll want to be sure that the pages print at the correct size (5.5” wide by 8.5” tall). This can be tricky. To print pages at the right size, bring up your Print settings in Adobe Acrobat and look for a “Page Scaling” option—make sure it is either turned off or set at “None.”
While this e-book was design for single-sided printing, you can print the pages “back-to-back” (on both sides of the paper) if you wish—to do this, print only the odd pages of the book, take those pages and place them back in the printer, and then print the even pages of the book. Once the pages are printed, trim them to 5.5” x 8.5” and then use a hole punch to punch out the six marked holes (for insertion in a deluxe binder) or trim the pages on the dotted line (to insert them in the PassPocket of a spiral edition).

Print and Bind—If you want this e-book printed and bound for you, there
are several options. Lulu will take a PDF and turn it into a printed book
for you—this book will cost roughly $6 plus shipping. For details, visit
http://www.lulu.com. Another option is a place like is FedEx Office (formerly Kinko’s), which will print a PDF file sent to them electronically—you then pick it up in your local store.
For details, visit http://www.fedexoffice.com. "

another good thing about the book is that I am using it to show my future in laws that NOT all disney weddings have to be 30,000 and princess themed!!

there is also places to fill in the blanks and the budget tool is very useful! Best book for us DisBrides. :cheer2: I can't say enough good things about it, it's going to make my job at planning this wedding a LOT easier! :)

it's really all about WDW and the disney cruise line weddings so I don't think you'd find useful info from that...but if you decided to be a WDW or cruiseline bride i'd suggest get it! :)

Hi guys! What's happening? :hyper:

It looks like you figured out the printing thing. I also have a cover Jpeg that will give you the complete professional cover with front, back, spine and ISBN for printing on LuLu - just PM me if you need it.

Right now there is no info on Disneyland weddings in the book, unfortunately, although you might find the planning worksheets helpful.

However, I will be adding a chapter on Disneyland weddings in the next few months - hopefully in time to be useful for you! :goodvibes
