Is it still the new version? I really liked the old (original?) version (the one with the old man) much better. The new one with the guide is a little too goofy (hey, that's Disney, sorrry).

I wonder why they changed it?

They have not changed it, but added some new fire effects to the last room recently. It give a nice kick to the final scene.

I think it was changed because the storyline was hard to follow.

Well, yes the storyline is supposed to be simpler now, but I don't think that's the primary reason. If that was so, they should've just changed a few things in the script of the first two rooms instead of a entire make-over. I believe it was for technical reasons... I could be wrong though.
