I have an idea for the back of one of our vacation shirts. I want to do a list of "Top Ten Reasons We Go To Disney". I want them to be humorous like the list David Letterman does. I think I can make the design but I'm having trouble finding anything creative to write. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I finally got around to making my shirt. It took me a while to get it just like I wanted it.

Those are cute ones! I've got a list of some I like so far.

1. Where else can I get my own Key to the World?
2. I can visit 11 countries without needing a passport.
3. Because everyday should end with fireworks.
4. 2 words....DOLE WHIP!
5. Because people keep telling me to "Have a Magical Day."
6. Mickey shaped food tastes better
7. Because I look great in 3-D glasses.
8. Because we like planningour meals 6 months in advance.
9. It really is the happiest place on Earth.

4 Feeling like you have TONS in common with lots of strangers

6 Paying no attention to what's on TV for a whole week
7 Dressing in an outfit you would never dream of wearing anywhere else
8 Not minding if your hair is messy or clothes are plastered to your body 'cause you just experienced Splash Mountain
9 Nowhere else can money that is so NOT legal tender be spent so freely
10 Asking a stranger to take a photo of your family and not wondering if they will run off with your camera

Hello Natalie! I loved your ideas for disigns on the top 10 list. Was wondering if you had time to do the list for me? I wasn't sure if I was just supposed to ask in the thread, or if PM'ing you was ok?

I have the order I would like it in, most of the lines came from the thread, I just tweaked it a little to fit "our" reasons for going to disney!


Top Ten Reasons We Go To Disney
10. Where else can I get my own Key to the World?

8. To add more Mickey ears to our collections.
7. Mickey shaped food just tastes better!
6. We can wear matching shirts and not look weird.

Also, I would like to put it on two shirts a white and a black one, so if I could get it in black and white lettering? Is that how that works? I have heard that you need different types of transfer paper for dark colors...

I also attached (if I did it right) a pic with the font I would like, if you can, or if you think it won't look good, then it's ok, just use what you think is best...

OOOHHHHH!!! Those SO ROCK!! But I just hit the checkout/ processed my t-shirt order [B]before[B] I came here to see new disigns.... maybe that's a good thing. Yet, I would love to make one that says 2009 on it.

And, can you tell me, did you use Amy's transfers? How did you print each section? Was it as many ex: #1's as needed per group of shirts and then you had to cut them apart and place each one line by line? Or was it just one big print-out?

I used the transfers that Amy sells on her website. I cut everything out. I left a white outline around the letters when I cut them out.

Yay, first post from a looong-time lurker:-)

These are all funny ideas. Here my list of so far 11 reasons - some are from here, some right out of my mind - compiled for my upcoming 1st trip:

11) Because every day should start with a wake-up call from Mickey Mouse and end with fireworks.

10) Because we don't have any Disney parks in Switzerland.

9) Because people keep telling me "Have A Magical Day!" & "Welcome Home!"

8) Where else can I bounce with Tigger, get a big bear hug from Baloo and not looking weird while doing so?

7) Because of one man: Walter Elias Disney.

6) Because of one building: Cinderella Castle.

5) Not minding a wet T-shirt because the Florida sun is hot and I've just experienced Splash Mtn.

Wow That is awesome! I use Amy's transfers too they are great, but I would never trust myself to cut all those letters and get them on straight.
