Hi,

Still looking at booking 7 nights at DLP over half term.

We really like the sound of the Empire State Club rooms but I don't seem to be able to find many photo's of the rooms, showing the size, layout, how many beds etc and I am unsure if some of the photos I have seen are of a suite or an ESC room?

Could anyone point me in the right direction please or let me know what you thought if you have stayed in an ESC room? Oh and is there a fridge at all?

We like the idea of having fastpasses as I am guessing it will be rather busy over halfterm??

Thanks in advance.

If it doesn't specificaly say suite it would just be a normal room (same as castle club too). DLRP hotels don't have fridges, The HNY has a mini bar however you can't really use it as fridge.

So an Empire State club room is the same as a standard room but you just get the added perks of lounge area, fast passes etc etc :confused3

Wow, I'm amazed because the price of an ESC room is near on double that of a standard room at the HNY :confused3 I presumed due the the huge price difference that the ESC would be something quite special :confused3

I think I need a sit down :lmao:

Thanks for your reply.

Found on another site:

We're currently online from our Empire State Club room at the Hotel New York, and I was about to post pictures here from the rooms, as so many people that already booked, or were interested in seeing what the rooms look like, requested for someone to post pictures on several occasions...

I'm disappointed to say, however, that I don't need to post any pictures, as the rooms are exactly the same as the regular rooms in the hotel, and definitely not worth the price we paid...........We've always been great fans of the resort, coming here since 1992, but the way they have been ripping us off now, is simply not acceptable to any hotel!

Considering that we are paying the same rates as some of the other 5 star hotels in Paris, we're not getting any service here at all... No-one to take up our luggage to the room, not a simple bottle of water or coffee-making facilities in the rooms, the lounge reserver for empire state club members closes before you get back after park closing hours, so you don't get the advertised free included beverages, and best of all... Even though we reserved lake view (or at least we were told this room would be lake view), we're seeing nothing but a nice parking lot from our window...

yes unless you book a suite, obviously this cost more than a normal ESC room.

We did Castle Club 2 years ago and the rooms were just normal rooms apart from they were on a different floor and we got a lounge and VIP fastpass though they had suites you could book too however these were extremly expensive.
