I even went on EBay and found a bunch of mickey head balloons (12)

not that anyone here is going to bake for you or do table settings but what are you doing for the cake? place settings? have you found napkins or thought of making place mats?

WHAT? No one would bake for me.... Just kidding.
I am baking a mickey head shaped angel food cake. (son is highly allergic to dairy so regular cake is out):sad2: Im just going with red, blue and yellow napkins, no point in spending a butt load on something people utilize as trash :rotfl:, placemats would be a good idea. Hadnt thought of that. Probably would need 3 different designs if anyone is for the taking.:thumbsup2
I am having a hard time finding good single mmch clip art. Software i use doesnt give me a cut option. (my dilemma)
Thanks for the suggestion:hug:

For those wondering why I am going so crazy over this, here is a little bio: Son has NEVER gotten to celebrate his bday. We normally have small 1st and 2nd bdays for our kids and make the 3rd a biggie, this is the time when they are getting the whole bday thing. Well my sons 1st birthday went not so well, we threw him a party, cake and all and this is how we found out he was very allergic to milk, he ate the cake and swelled up like a balloon and started gasping for air, :scared1:, no more dairy for him.:sad2: on to #2, day before party he wasnt feeling well so we gave him his normal breathing treatments, has asthma, didnt help so off to ER, had pneumonia and got hospitalized for a week.:guilty: so this my friends is why i am going completely PSYCHO over this one. I want it to be SUPER special.:lovestruc One for the books for him and my family who have endure it all with us as well. Thansk for listening to my babble.:)
Here is me and my baby.....

Kelly,
It sounds like your planning a rockin' party! I wish I could be in Texas to see all of this cool stuff! I understand how you feel about this party.......... Danny spent his 5th birthday in the hospital, so I went all out for the his 6th!
Check VistaPrint.com for any "freebies" that they are offering. They do T-shirts, magnets, pens, window clings, tote bags and much more and I've never had a probem with them printing my Disney stuff!
By the way.......... sorry about the phone the other day. By the time I got home from work it was late. I'll give you a call next week!

Everything sounds AMAZING!!! I honestly don't believe you need anything else...your party will be spectacular!!!!! For future years...the best website for planning children's partys is www.birthdaypartyideas.com it's a website kind of like this one where mom's post exactly what they did for their party from decorations and cakes to games and favors. I LOVE IT!!!
The one thing that I like to do is set up a "photo" opportunity of some kind and have another family member (you will be way to busy for this role) to take pictures of each child as they come or later in the party if they are too shy at first. Then you can send it along with a "thank you" for coming to the party! I made trading cards for his second year sports party and inserted the kids into Neverland using Photoshop this year for our Neverland party.
Here are some quotes that you could use with your centerpiece...hope it helps:
Start off with "MEESKA MOOSKA MICKEY MOUSE" (spelling?)
Hip Hip Hooray
It's (Name) 3rd Birthday!
With Mickey, Minnie and Pluto too
this party would not be complete without you.
So play some games and have a ball.
(Child's Name or Mickey's) Clubhouse is fun for all.
OTHER IDEAS:
jump, roll and hop
the fun will never stop!
(NAME) birthday has been so great
Thanks for joining us to celebrate!
I love that you shared in my special day
you made it memorable in every way!
We are so glad that you came from far and near
to celebrate (NAME) Birthday as he starts another year!
Turning 3 is so much fun!!!
Thanks for making the party second to none!
Change the wording of the "hot dog song"...here are the lyrics with a few line changes that I put off to the side. (Or you could just put the original lyrics. I put the lyrics to the Neverland Song on one side of my centerpiece this year):
Hot dog! (Hot dog)
Hot dog!
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Now we got ears, it's time for cheers
Hot dog, hot dog, the problem's solved
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Grab my boots and a sandwich OR Grab some cake and a sandwich
Let's start a parade
Get the coconut drum kit
For Daisy to play
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
We're taking off, we're dancing now
Hot dog, leapfrog, and holy cow
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
It's a brand new day OR It's (NAME) birthday
Whatcha waiting for?
Get up, stretch out, stomp on the floor
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
We're splitting the scene
We're full of beans
So long for now from Mickey Mouse (That's me!) OR So long for now from (NAME) (That's me!)
And the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
HERE IS WHAT I PUT ON MY FIRST YEAR CENTERPIECE...just to show you that it doesn't have to be long.
SIDE ONE:
I put a picture of my son above this wording:
Glad you came to my party,
I hope you have fun.
Another year has past,
and I’m no longer one.
Let’s play some games
and have a ball.
This party should be
fun for all.
SIDE TWO & FOUR:
the wording "JT's ALL STAR SPORTS PARTY"
with trading card of my son below it
SIDE THREE:
a short bio of "accomplishments", travels and fun things he did over his first two years
HOPE THIS HELPS WITH YOUR CENTERPIECE...
P.S. A girl's disney trip would be fun!!!

You could also steal from the lyrics of Caillou...although I still like the idea of doing something with the Hot Dog Song...
I'm just a kid who's three
Each day is fun to me
I like exploring
I'm (NAME).
So many things to do
Each day is something new
I'll share them with you
I'm (NAME).
My world is turning
Changing each day
With Mommy and Daddy
And finding my way!
Growing up is not so tough
Except when I've had enough
But there's lots of fun stuff
I'm (NAME).
That's me!

Maybe have some jokes ready to tell. My daughter is three and just loves:
What kind of car does Minnie drive........A Minnie Van.
She laughs histerickly when she tells the joke and I don't think she really understands it but loves it anyways.

Great job on the crayon boxes...I'm glad to see that you were able to use some of the ideas from my Neverland party!!! Also, I didn't know it was possible to spend $60 in one trip at the Dollar Tree...although I'm sure I have spent that much over time as I tend to spend $5 everytime I go on Disney things and put them in my "disney box" for our next trip, or for the "cars" party I'm planning for next year.
