Hi everyone,
I've never participated in one of these discussions, but since I've discovered yours, I've been reading it often. I will be on the Aug. 3 Magic. I am traveling with my extended family, three families ages 70+ to 4. We can't wait!!!
Does anyone know about ironing facilities on board? I read that we can't bring one, but I know my clothes will probably need it.
Thanks!

Philncat,
Yes, they have irons in the laundry rooms, but laundry rooms are not on every floor. I suggest bringing some Wrinkle Remover. And have a great time on your cruise!

Actually, Irons ARE allowed on board, they just don't want you to use them in your room. You CAN take your own. We also took OUR own. You don't want to use the ones they have. You'll end up with dirty brown water on your clothes, or rust.

One thing that helped us on our last DCL cruise was a travel steamer. It worked great on everything. I don't know if Disney frowns on having those in your room too, but it sure made life a lot easier for us.

Thanks to all for the info. I definately will bring my own iron and wrinkle remover. I don't have a steamer, but I think my sister-in-law does and they will be on the same floor. I'll see if we can arrange to share.
Are the laundry rooms locations listed any where?
Less than a month until our trip...I guess I better start to pack!

To the best of my memory, there are 3 laundry rooms on board (I think decks 2, 6, and 7???) I know the middle one is smaller than the other 2. They each had an iron and ironing board.
