Hi Everyone
I'm new to these boards, and have just booked our first trip to Disney Land Paris. Got a good deal I think, 2 nights in Sante Fe, Eurostar Tickets and free dining for a total of £624!
I'll be going with my husband and our 2 sons. Owen will be 4 and Oscar will be almost 1.
I've got a few questions. Mainly can anyone recommend where to eat in the evenings? I know we've got the meal plan, but we really want to eat at a fab restaurant and perhaps use the meal vouchers towards it. I've read about Cafe Mickey? Is it fab?
Secondly, can anyone tell me about pushchairs on the Eurostar? Can I just check it in with the baggage?
I'm SO excited. We were planning on going to WDW in a few years when my youngest is a bit older, but my eldest is so into Mickey Mouse right now that we're dying to take him.
Cheers,
Hayley x

Congratulations on booking - the free meals deal is a really good one in my opinion :goodvibes. Cafe Mickey is fabulous, definitely the place to use one of your meal vouchers at face value, and your boys will be bowled over by all the attention they'll get from the characters there :cool1:.

Hi Elaine
Thanks for the reply. I've had a read through the board and there's lots of info. Friends of mine are off to WDW in just over a week and they recommended this forum to me.
I think I'll most definitely have to pay a visit to Cafe Mickey. Can anyone tell me how I can book a table in advance?
Many thanks x

Hi,
Welcome to DIS and congratulations on booking your first trip, I hope you all get to love to DLP as much as we do. :goodvibes
You don't check your luggage in on Eurostar, it stays with you and you load it into compartments at the end of your carriage, your pushchair will also be fine there.
Cafe Mickey is a great experience your 4 year old will love it and character meals are one of the easiest ways of meeeting characters and getting them all to yourself for a little while.
Staying at Santa Fe you will have the standard vouchers, but you can use them at face value towards the cost of Cafe Mickey.
Hope that helps.
Jill. :)

Hi Jill
Thanks for the reply. The Eurostar info is useful, the pushchair thing is the main thing bothering me. Good to know we can just load it on with the bags. We've got a pushchair that folds down really small, so we'll take that.
I'm definitely going to be using the vouchers towards the meal in Cafe Mickey. To be honest we'll probably do that both nights. We all love eating out. Do you know if they can be used in Ranforest Cafe?
Cheers,
Hayley
PS - Just noticed your location as Abergavenny, I'm from Wales too. Living in Ystrad Mynach which is towards Blackwood way.

Unfortunately you can't use the half board vouchers at the Rainforest Cafe, or Planet Hollywood. But theres lots of place you can use them :) - including lots of restaurants inside both parks, and also all the onsite hotels restaurants, plus Annettes diner and La Grange buffet at Billy Bobs in the Village.

Know where you are I lived in Bargoed til I was 12, I think I had some baby teeth extracted in Ystrad Mynach, that was a long time ago. lol.
There's a list here of the restaurants that will be covered in full by your vouchers too:
