Just booked Delta for DTW to MCO for April 5/11, 2003 at $133 round trip. Travelocity was cheaper than all others....

I put in my dates for my December trip from Newark to MCO and it is still $211, but if I put in my dates from Philadelphia I get the $133.50 changing planes in Atlanta. Looks good, PHI is an hour and a half from my house, EWR is 20 minutes.

You lucky people...I just tried Delta for May 2003 and all I could get was $248. That stinks, and the plane is empty so far.

Cassie, that 's a long way off. I've been watching rates since March for our Sept trip. Back then they were hovering at $219 to $234 and the planes were still empty. When they dropped to $184 I grabbed then thinking that people would start buying their tickets. Now our tickets are $150, so we got a voucher for our next trip.

Glad to see that my post helped someone. ;)

You have a great rate. I have been checking
for a flight from MEM to MCO and the best I
can find on Delta is $264 RT from Memphis, Tn.
I know there should be something a little
better than this before we go. It will be the
end of Sept. and it is making me nervous. I
have rooms and rental car and no flights. Wow,
I am backwards this year. Wish me luck, I sure
don't want to drive.

Thanks to DIS and Zurgswifes' post. I was able to grabbed the $133.50 fare for our Nov/Dec trip.
I just tried the the Delta site again this morning, after seeing if some friends could join us and, bummer, the deal is gone.

Thanks zurgswife.

Can you tell me how you went about getting the vouchers. I've been keeping my eye out on the flights I've already booked, but if it turns out to be cheaper then what I paid, I wouldn't mind getting a voucher myself..........

From what I've read on these boards you just need to call delta's reservation line and state that there is a price decline and you'd like an adjustment in the form of a voucher...

Holy schmolly, out of cruel curiosity, I just checked from San Diego & it's only $270!! I only wish we could go! But I am going after Christmas. I am doing a three leg trip on the same # skymiles I was going to use for Christmas anyway! (San Diego - Cincinnati - Orlando - San Diego) No extra skymiles, no extra charges!! YIPPEE!
