Anyone else get a Pending letter?

I just got a pending letter today... But I think it has a typo, it says I'll hear back by AUGUST 1st. I'm calling recruiting on Tuesday to find out what's up.

Oh, and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that tiny envelope.

i know of a girl who got a pending letter today too but it said dec 1

I interviewed the first possible day, the 24th. The letter was dated Sept. 1st though.

From what I read on Facebook, it looks like the letter is supposed to say I'll hear back by December 1st. That's an awfully long time to wait, and doesn't give me much time to get ready if I do get in.

Yup, the pending letter came in the regular mail. The only thing I got in my email was the thank you for interviewing thing.

I called Recruiting today to find out what's up with the typo in my letter, but the person I talked to was absolutely useless. She just kept repeating that it should take about 4-6 weeks to hear back, even after I asked her about some people's letters saying Dec. 1st.

I guess at the very least she confirmed that I'm pending... I had an awful thought all weekend that the typo was part of some larger mix up and they really meant to send me a rejection letter.
