I don't think this one was involved in the accident because the one involved in the accident was decorated with mickey balloons for this years celebration.

Looks like its off one of the earlier monorail models. The doors on the current models are simple rectangles.

That is an older one. They have had it for sale for a long time now. Pretty cool some of the things they get to sell sometimes.

They also have a Horizons ride vehicle. Oh DARN.

Thanks for this link...I just bought a Christmas Present...no not the door. They have a bunch of odd things for sale though.

listened to an old competitor podcast that monorail red was sold on ebay a few years ago for approx. $72000.00 then it was placed at mousesurplus

Yes the old doors had to be closed manually by the driver and the station Cast Members. They were opened by pushing a button near the cabin.

That was a cool website to browse. Some of the items gave me the willies though, like the bedding from the resorts and the shower curtins. I know they are probely never been used ....but my luck would be that they have been.
