I can't seem to find the mini M&M's in the plastic container. I wanted to put money for pressed pennies in the container. Did they stop making these?

I was able to find them at Fred Meyer's in both sizes and also Toys R Us too...
Sometimes Wal-mart will have them but over here it is hit and miss...

I thought that a whole M&M tube of quarters was just too heavy to carry around the parks every day! I had made one of that size for carrying quarters/pennies and a Mentos gum container for carrying the squashed coins. We ended up just mixing all in the Mentos container and replenishing it/removing the squashed coins each night.

Thanks Libby and Oregon Mommy. I will have to check Toys r Us, I looked on M&M website and did a search as well to the stores in my area that carry the mini M&Ms. The Mento's container is a great idea for the finished pennies.:thumbsup2

I've also found the M&M containers at Blockbuster in case anyone is still looking.

I ended up using empty prescription bottles. They fit about enough quarters and pennies for 14 pressed pennies. Have fun!!!

I miss those mini M&Ms!!! I haven't had them in years!
Last year I just put my quarters and pennies in a little ziplock bag. But I like your idea better!
I finally found them at CVS in the candy section that was under the cash registers in the front of the store.

I used empty Air-bornne containers. Worked like a charm.

Oddly enough, our local Bed Bath & Beyond has a rack of candy near the front doors/cash registers and they had some of the mini M&M's in tubes

I've had the best luck finding them at the gas stations of all places.

I use these too. I have the tall ones because one of my prescriptions has rather large pills. It was enough (packed tightly) for $10 of quarters and 20 pennies. (only if it had the domed type lid though, not the flat across, arthritis type).
