I am sorry if this is insensitive, and I am not assuming all Canadian people speak French, but I know some do, so I thought I would give this a try.

My stepmom is a French speaking Canadian living in the US. French is her first language. She is extremely fluent in English (or as close to English as Americans get! LOL). She is a Disney lover but will be unable to join us for our trip. We will be in Disney during her birthday. We actually arrive two days before her birthday. I thought it would be nice to send her a post card from Disney World wishing her a Happy Birthday and saying I love her, in French.

Can someone tell me if I have this right?

Happy Birthday: Bonne Fete
I love you: Je T'aime

Thank you for your help! (Merci! ;) )

You have it correct! Perhaps add "Tu nous manques" (we miss you).

THANK YOU!! I was thinking about we miss you, but didn't want to write a whole paragraph and ask for someone to translate it to French for me!

Thank you for your help. :)

As a french speaking teacher, I would translate it like that:

"Bonne fête"

"Nous t'aimons."

"Nous pensons à toi."

because I assume that you are writing from all of you.

Very good idea and glad I can help.

I'd go with Siebel's translation - it's more accurate given the card is likely coming from all of you.

Tu nous manques is actually the proper translation for "We miss you/We are missing you."

Tu nous manques is actually the proper translation for "We miss you/We are missing you."

Is it? It seems more like "you miss us". Nous te manquons would make more sense to me.
