Officials say man rescued by Disney cruise ship jumped off another ship

A man rescued by crew on the Disney Wonder jumped from another ship.

Gee, I know that Disney's ships are great (I'm going on my second cruise of the year on the Wonder next week), but to jump off another ship to get on the Wonder?

Seriously, the man that jumped (fell off) the Carnival Sensation was not injured. That is great news.

Kudos to the crew on the Disney Wonder for a great rescue.

I read that story earlier today (Kathy posted it on FB).
I am still amazed that a slow moving cruise ship could find this man faster than the Coast Guard in a heliocopter! :confused3

I am shocked he was not too badly injured. That ship has to be as tall as a six-story building, and water is not fun to land on. Thank God for Disney, though. :woohoo:

There was some video on ABC this evening. It sounded/looked like the passengers were applauding the crew as they brought the man on board.

Pretty incredible work.
