Mine was- "Bob Marley has a studio?"
Yeah, it took me a few months to figure that one out.

:rotfl2: I admit I was wondering the same thing. :confused3 I wondered who had the obsession with Bob Marley. Now after catching up on shows and listening regularly, what a fitting tribute to a great Disney fan & man! :littleangel:

Okay - I'm going to be honest. :cutie:
I have been listening to the show since February of 2007 and when I first starting listening, it took me a while to figure out who was with who and that one of the who's had been with one of the other who's. Hold it, this sounds like a Dr. Seuss book.

I still have this problem! I like that they are honest and don't just keep telling us how wonderful Disney is. I also like the fact that they all get along so well and truly :lovestruc what they are doing. It makes me want to hang out with all of them!

I've loved it since I first started listening. I have to admit though, that at first I thought Pete was saying Bob Marley and not Varley.:goodvibes

I've been listening for a little less than a year. I am only just now starting to sort out whose voice belongs to who. At first I thought well, it's just a show about WDW and doesn't apply to me. DLR is my "home park". I've never been to WDW and although I've always wanted to go, probably won't for at least 3 more years. But in my obsession of all things Disney, I just had to keep listening. More so when they added the DLR people. Then I found they also discuss Disney news. And for some reason. I love hearing the restaurant reviews. Don't know why because the places may be totally different by the time I get there, but they are always interesting and sometimes astonishing. Hopefully by the time I do get WDW I will have absorbed some helpful informaton. :)

First impression... too many voices! At first I wondered who was who, then I just relaxed and listened and didn't care who was talking.
Now, I do recogonize the voices and their topic specialties. And I know what they look like!

I thought for a while that there were 2 Johns as Pete kept talking about couple-things he and John used to do...it wasn't until a show where Pete and John talked about how they moved to Orlando that I finally got it! :lmao:

Don't even try to figure out who all the Eckles's are without a legal pad and a pencil.

I started listening about 2 years ago, after a short trip to the World. I was then starting to plan a longer trip for the next year and I was scouting for information sites. I came across the DIS and found the Pod Cast. At first listen I was hooked. (Bob was still alive then). I like the fact that they are true Disney Fans....they 'get it', they understand the 'magic', yet they are honest and tell you like it is. No sugar coating. Even when they think Disney has done something that is wrong, I want to hear about it. This is a wonderful site and I hope it continues on and on and on......

I started listening about 2 years ago and i just feel in love with how well they all mesh together into one big crazy Disney family and I love it. The chemistry that they have is just magical to me it does not matter the topic its always a great show.

I started to listen to the podcast two years ago. My Amy made me listen to it on our way to Atlantic City. I was like... "Who are these people"
Amy was filling me in on who's who. Oh by the way Mr. John Magi, your Amy's favorite :) lol. So after that I got hooked!!!!!!! I like to think I live thought this guys and girls. Because there doing a job we wish we all had.
It like your listening to your friends just chatting at the dining room table.

I thought it was chat. Every week or every month or whatever, someone would post a thread saying that chat had been scheduled for, say, Wednesday at 9:00.
I always thought, "Why would we do that when we can do this AND not have a time??" After a while, I'd just ignore it like everyone else.
They'd talk about this "podcast" thing and I thought it was chat.
Then I found out what podcasts were. So, I checked it out.
Impression #1 was that Pete's voice was all wrong for Pete. I'd created a voice for Pete in my head that sounded more like Christopher Reeve. #2 was "Kevin is funny." Except I didn't have a name for the voice - that came with time. But I knew the guy belonging to that voice was funny.
I don't remember the other impressions. But I remember clearly when I realized that "podcast" and "chat" were not the same thing. (Little slow on the uptake sometimes.)

I have been hooked for a few years now. Love listening to everything from the rants, the store tours, restaurant reviews, most of all how everyone interacts with each other. It's like sitting down to a good meal with family and friends that you have not seen for a while, and everyone has something to say and everyone respects that persons opinion even if they don't agree with it. :goodvibes

I had listened to the podcast since the beginning. When I got to go do a segment on the show I was in awe of the studio and the Podcast team. Pete was thanking me and I was thanking him for being able to see the studio.

It's the high point of my otherwise usually dull work week. I would like to suggest to the listeners who are relatively new to the podcast, that they should listen to the archived episodes with Bob Varley.
The team now is terrific (:worship: Kathy), but the chemistry they had with Bob was magical, and his shenanigans kept me in stitches. He is truly missed.
