I leave on Tuesday with my big kids for an 9 day trip -- they don't know yet. I can't even tell them until the night before we leave because I am leaving the little guy behind and it would break his heart. (He has his own trip in November)

DD loves autographs, DS tolerates it. Usually autographs is a big part of the trip for DD and I and the boys stay with DH and do something else (nap! mostly) ANyway, shorter trip, no DH, I expect less autographs. We do have 5 character meals.

In the past DD has used the blue Disney book, complete 8x8 pages, tags and icons. I have absolutely nothing for this trip and clearly not much time to make something.

Any ideas? PLEASE!!!! I also will not have a stroller for the first time so I need to keep it small. I looked at Target today for a spiral bound, blank paper notebook, on the small side (5x7, 4x6) to alter, but no luck.

How about checking an office supply store for a spiral bound index card book- they sometimes have them in color and I have seen them both lined or blank- otherwise you could buy a package of large index cards (blank) there and have them bind it and then make a pretty cover.

Michaels had some some cute spiral notebooks for $.50 in the $1 spot. They are about 5x5 with a hard cover and back. They had them in lime green with big white polka dots and also in hot pink with big white polka dots. There are 100 ruled sheets in each book. I picked up a few of them as I figured they'd be great to alter and give as gifts.
