AP at airport before meeting TTC

Trying to streamline the trip (want to get e-night tix for the night we arrive and need APs in hand when we check in to CBR). I'd like to buy my APs at the Disney shop at the airport. I'm I totally out of my mind thinking I can grab it before I meet my TTC driver and pick up my luggage? I'm not as worried about the driver as I am about the luggage coming out before I get there.

Has anyone had success or failure trying to do the same?

My guess is you'll get you AP's long before your luggage shows up. When is the last time you went directly from your plane to a baggage claim and your bags got there ahead of you? Most airlines take about 15 minutes on average from the plane arriving at the gate to the first bag hitting the conveyor belt at baggage claim.

And even if the luggage beats you by a couple of minutes, it will just go around the baggage claim conveyor again. They don't remove unclaimed baggage from the belt for quite a while after the flight lands.

Buy your AP's. You'll have time.

I was thinking of doing the same thing during our trip in August- TTC is also going to be our transportation. Just trying to keep my money in my pocket as long as possible.....

If you're going before then, let me know how you make out. I was actually thinking of sending another adult in the party to buy the APs while I did the luggage and TTC.
